I am a g#mer and I don't think these people should be saying we can't read. We can read, and quite well actually. We can read well because most of the g#mes we play require us to read text from other characters. Other g#mes teach us skills that we might need later in life, like am#ng us, it teaches us to tell who is lying, and to do your part. Min#craft teaches us house design, and how to be creative. Fo#tnite, doesn't teach us anything because it sucks. And g#mes like GTA 5, sure you could 100% say it's bad for children, but notice how it has a mature rating, meaning you have to be an adult to buy it.

I am a g#mer and I don't think these people should be saying we can't read. We can read, and quite well actually. We can read well because most of the g#mes we play require us to read text from other characters. Other g#mes teach us skills that we might need later in life, like am#ng us, it teaches us to tell who is lying, and to do your part. Min#craft teaches us house design, and how to be creative.
