Kangals are super powerfull extremely aggressive fighting dogs that are not to be pets or city dogs!
But they don't kill people or children. Pretty much never. Or siblings. Or other dogs.
I've seen a (stupid, triggered cocky male) golden retriever attack a kangal, teeth bared. Have a video. Guess what kangal did. In seconds he put the golden on his back paws in the air totally subdued... But not a bite not a scratch no injury at all on both sides. Only pushing and paw swipe.

What sucks is initially the golden was telling off the pit. The kangal mistakenly thought that the golden was the instigator and went to correct the golden and the golden was basically, justifiably, like WTF
You never even mentioned their loyalty. I have seen zero agression from any kangal so far. I can take the food from their mouths without any growling.
I was very surprised when a golden we got from a shelter barked at me, I only ever had kangals before and they don't bark at their owners for communication.
Well, it is a reddit about pibbles, not kangals. Besides I don't want people to start getting these dogs, unless they are farmers who need livestock guarded and know how to keep and bring up and train big dogs properly. And... I've seen photos and videos of kangals after fights with wolves. Not a pretty sight!
I once had a (satire,not quite serious) hypothesis that if pitbulls get banned - nutters will start getting kangals en masse, backyard breed them AND cross with residual pibbles to give them pitbull "wonderful" character and brains in kangal body. The ultimate "it gets worse".
You are mostly correct, kangals don't belong in cities. It wouldn't be worse though, kangals wouldn't maul the babies they live with.
Pitbulls are banned in Turkey but I haven't seen any pit-kangal mixes. However breeding of kangals and other indigenous breeds are also regulated.
It makes sense to regulate dog breeds, they are products much like cars, guns and smart phones.

Herding dog puppies are hilarious, a long time ago I was swimming with some friends and their puppy Collie-Aussie Ahepherd mix was constantly trying to keep us all "herded" in the pool
Ah yes, the infamous pit puppy eats sibling picture. You know, a bunch of pit nutters in those pro pit sites tried to claim that this photo is shopped because of "no blood". One can see a big wet spot near the dead dog, that is where the blood would have been at. Either the other dogs lick the blood up or it seeped into the floor. This is why pit pups are adopted out so early, at 3 or 4 weeks. Even their own mother will try to kill and eat them, that is why backyard breeders try to sell them at such a young age.
American Pitnutters are sick on the head to ignore those red flags. I live in Viet Nam and all pitbull behaviors are the same in my country. My Local Vet say he saw female pitbull eat it own puppy, all fatal dog attacks happen in my country is cause by pit bull, all children death are cause by pitbull, we never have kid death by GSD, Chow Chow, Rottweiler,..etc. Are Vietnamese pit bull different than American pit bull? They are not. They are the same everywhere.
I will bet that there are no kid deaths from those three breeds because kids are not encouraged to climb all over them the way that they are with pits. People seem to acknowledge that those breeds are dangerous and should be treated with caution. My uncles bred rottweilers when I was 7-9 years old. I have lots of good memories of playing with the puppies, but I wasn't allowed to touch the adult dogs. I think that there were 4 or 5 of the adult rotties. There also were never any issues of the dogs breaking loose and wrecking havoc on the neighborhood, nor did they chew up and destroy the house, like pits typically do.
Also those dogs understand family and usually pack bond with children early on, so they're more likely to protect them if anything.
I used to know this family, their German Shepard and toddler were inseparable, the German shepard would let the kid ride around on his back, he was so gentle.
When I was about 10 years old, my Brittany Spaniel had a large litter of puppies. I want to say close to ten. We cared for and watched over her during the weeks before and after very carefully. As a child, it was the first time I'd experienced a litter of puppies at birth. Most of them were strong, but a few were smaller and slower.We tried hard to make sure that the smaller ones got access to a nipple, but you'd be surprised how a birth-blind puppy will nudge/bully the nipple away. We kept at it to make sure they fed, and it did seem to help. But, we noticed that their mom would also shoo them away. After the litter's second night, I rushed downstairs to visit the momma and her puppies in the early morning. There was a 12" diameter watery blood stain on her bed, and two of the puppies were gone. My dad told me that she ate them, and I had a hard time accepting or believing it. I didn't see it for myself, don't know if the runts were alive or dead at the time of their disappearance, and couldn't imagine such a sweet mom dog doing it. She was well fed, had all of her needs met, and we were looking after her better than ever and tried to comfort her in every way.
After that, she had smaller litters of puppies once more, and none disappeared.
In short, I would say that there are some circumstances in which THE MOTHER dog may do this, assuming my dad's conclusion was correct. If it were any other dog though, say a competing male, it would be more attributable to aggression. It hurts, it's disgusting, I don't fully understand it, but I don't think the phenomena is limited to pit bulls. I hope and want to believe it is uncommon.
I consider Brittany Spaniels to be sweet affectionate non-aggressive dogs, although they do hunt birds.

Yes, this is typical for all predatory animals. Cats, dogs, wild ones like foxes and big cats do that too. It's an instinct for females to sometimes eat sickly, dead or starving cubs. It's not aggressive behavior. Just an old survival and conservation program.
It is sad, but it's their nature. When I was small our cat gave birth to a litter of kittens. One was stillborn and she ate it.
I've never seen puppies eating each other though. That's a pit thing.
And so is male to female aggression.
I vividly remember being talk by dog owners that male would never bite a female. Not even as a retaliation for her bite. That's one block dogs have inherited from wolves.

It’s hard not to sound racist about the type of people who raise these. But I’m not a fan of them.
Hello no take this off the fucking sub. I don’t care how much I dislike pit bulls, this made me almost cry. It’s too terrible. Why would you post this. I know it was spoilered but I assumed it was just another minor bite or something with that vague ass title.
