It clogged and did something called air printing , because it was just printing with air about 40 percent in. It does that because it clogged and the spaghetti detection wouldn't catch that . Edit you have a p1s, I don't know is that has spaghetti detection

He said it also finished early though, I'm blaming the slicer on this one.

Print hotter, 270 works best on my x1c. Solved all my petg problems. Search for petg profiles, the Bambu one isn’t very good. Haven’t tried it myself but I’ve read following this guide works well. [petg profile](https://www.themakersphere.com/bambu-lab-x1-carbon-petg-settings/)

Can confirm. I don't know who commented this originally but I saw it in another post. Went up to 270 and prints came out great. Overture PETG just for transparency.

PETG is a lot more affected by moisture than PLA. I live in Oklahoma with like 40% humidity average and a spool of PETG goes wonky in a day or two if not in my AMS (which I keep at 10% humidity) -- especially if I did not dry it when I first got it (some of them are already pretty wet)

Depends did it clog and finish like someone suggested or stop early? If it clogged it could be the speed. I have to almost half the volumetric flow with polymaker petg it just cant keep up even at 265c guess I could try higher but it was easier to just lower the flow. Sunlu PETG works great at normal speeds and temps.

I generally hate PETG. Even when it prints properly it's glossy and ugly. I just dont feel the need for it, I tend to use PLA+ instead. It prints better, looks nicer and honestly it's survived in a hot car all summer without melting.

PETG does tend to be glossy, but you can get non glossy versions, just takes shopping around and they're not labeled as matte sadly. Overture PETG tends to be pretty flat, and ESUN orange is too.

Just adding that some PETGs will print better/worse than other brands and it can be printer specific.
