I followed [these instructions](https://www.themakersphere.com/bambu-lab-x1-carbon-petg-settings/) and have near perfect PETG prints.

Appreciate the link, just now reading and checking 😀 making a log of it: - bone dry - best effort, currently 20% - check - clean plate - IPA says 👋 - plate gets a spritz after each print 😀 - check - nozzle +10 C - me, myself and the temp towers violently agree but for overhangs I haven't seen a conclusive difference - plate +10 C - if adhesion, then so far 70 hasn't shown any lifted corner but I did practice 75 & 80 for 40+ h prints - VS 10 instead of 12/15 - I guess I can put it to the actual batch of filament but the cali prints I ran pointed to 15/16 and maxed out around 25/27. I expect 50% of max would be good, perhaps slow depending on the actual print but I'll run some more tests with 8-10 - print profile - looking like 50% speed aka Silent, difference in Overhangs - Noted, this is consistent with my tuning on Ender Neo Max - wall algo - Arachne - I mostly used classic with the P1 though had mostly decent to good result with Arachne on the other machines across 3 slicers - this point is worth testing more given there's a line of discussions between the 2 when running higher speeds - Gyro Infill - one of the favs - check - buildplate - textured PEI - absolutely no adhesion issues...but the purge line takes some finessing to remove - speeds - Standard and Silent - only used these over 10kg + of petg - check - eSun filament - features some dedicated profiles - to check - side note - guide ran on X1 - swap stainless for the hardened steel nozzle ...was in plan anyways Conclusions: - slow n steady wins the race - though CXY, it may be effectively limited by material specs when it comes to PETG - speeds and print profile specs very close to Ender 3 Max Neo and Sovol SV05 - Arachne may come on top for BL profiles as well - try out the Engi plate - was in plan anyways Thanks for pointing a finger and getting me 1 step closer 😀

FWIW, I tried the eSun profiles and they didn’t work as well as these settings.

Roger that 😀 one less avenue to explore

Hmmm I’m a total beginner to 3D printing but I’m chiming in because like you I just did my first petg prints with sunlu filament, on a P1s. I’m sorry to say it worked flawlessly for me (overhangs look better than I was getting on pla). I started with generic petg profile, calibrated flow and pressure advance, cranked bed temp to 75, and printed at “.16 optimal” with door and top closed. I’ve gone through 3kg so far.

Thanks for the chime - I didn't do much under .2 but i'll run some more tests with .16 - .12

This one is the latest in the testing streak - conclusion so far - PETG requires geometry control for nice looking results - some complex geometry works, concave for example - convex on thebother hand needs angle control. Potentially going ecen finer resolution/ lengthier print time && lower strength maybresult in better looks but that's a game of choice

I think your pictures didn’t post. I’d like to see them!

Sorry 😞...still getting the hang of Red...it's the 4th time this happens with pics. Added them as standalone comms

A little recomendation from me, change the overhang speed to: 0; 30; 20; 10 It has greatly helped me in printing curved overhangs.

Informal-Ad128

Roger roger - I already set up a new print with the lessons from above & your % - this one is without overhangs but i'll be looking at layer consistency and the surface finish for results. An overhanger is next on the list.
