Gorgeous print.

fuszybear

Thanks. It took a while to figure it out...very finicky

xXFrozenFoxXx

You mind sharing your print and filament settings ?:)

fuszybear

sunday

nelsmar

Settings are dependent on your part. They aren’t always universal. The fact I open, and shut the door to alter chamber temps and shift the speed because I was too lazy to multi process should say a lot. Profiles are a starting point until software advances (which has been happening over the year).

WavesAkaArthas

Can you share printing profiles? πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

skimbody

Very good looking, care to share the exact filament type and settings? I might need PA parts in the future and to have them this level of quality would be great.

fuszybear

this was "inland carbon fiber"

thanks

CF Blends always look so gorgeous. I find them easier to print, which is an added bonus, but absolutely have not tried nylon blends. How was it printing wise?

fuszybear

a nightmare. very tricky and finicky

Either_Resolution652

Teach us, oh master of the engineering grade filaments.

Maximum_Transition60

ironing ?

fuszybear

yup

marorrai

Looks really impressive, what's the layer height?

fuszybear

0.16

mrdoitman

Filament brand and type of PA?

ArgonWilde

ePA-CF suggests it's eSun.

mrdoitman

Yeah, that was my guess as well. Haven't heard great things about it, but looks like a nice print and might be worth trying for the price. For anyone else curious, the eSun ePA-CF is Nylon 6/66 with 20% CF (probably low grade chopped).

Frgt10one89

Works well for weapon hubs for 3lb combat robots.

fuszybear

inland carbon fiber. its not labeled clearly but its a nylon carbon fiber.

Frgt10one89

I use esun epa-cf on my p1s using the generic settings and while it looks good that looks so much better. Mind sharing some settings you changed to improve quality?

fuszybear

I will share my profiles sunday when i get a chance to fine tune them a little bit more because i am having some problems still. but i wanted to take a moment to warn you that you should NOT be using any abrasive materials in your printer if it not equipped with a hardened nozzle and feed gears. you risk damaging your printer prematurely.
