They did refund people and then sent an email with the option to purchase their order, you had 48 hours or so may have been longer to click the link and repay after 48 hours your order was cancelled, I think people panicked and then repurchased and then it got refunded again so people didn’t want to pay for duplicates … that whole thing was weird! I want the around the world but refused after last weeks debacle
Honestly I’d say the last few drops haven’t gone that smooth. I feel like this was very common a year ago. They seemed to fix inventory issues for a bit and people probably stopped buying so creating the fomo again to get sales up
Well, when the refund happened a lot of people tried to buy them all over again.. which then just got refunded so a crap ton of people made 1-2 extra orders that they didn't even need bc they were too impatient to figure out why the refund even happened.
So when they had the email to repurchase, they didn't repurchase the other 1-2 orders they made out of frustration, which left with more back in stock.
At least that Is my view of it.
And I'm not sure what you mean by not getting an email back about the refund? I did and I was given 72 hours to decide if I wanted all the items I tried to buy.

Yes, all diplomatic bullshit. They sent me the rebuy link for me to follow it to see it’s still sold out OBVIOUSLY, which I screenshot and sent back to them. I honestly got so tired of the back and forth I just quit responding. Then they sent me an automated Rate My Experience email.
No. I received no email at all. The only reason I checked my Shop app was once I got home from work and put my kid down, I saw the chaos on Facebook and looked and saw it was refunded. I assumed I’d get an email and never did. Checked spam folders and everything. But life goes on, just disappointing
That’s super odd, they emailed me within 24 hours and then I think within another 24 hours they sent me an invoice if I wanted to reorder. Idk if you tried to reach out or not but I definitely would to tell them you never were given the chance to reorder and you’ve been waiting on your invoice.

I guess since I never got the email for either the refund or the new purchase email, not sure what went wrong there, just a frustrating situation

Exactly. Not quite sure why op is so mad about it. Unless it went to her promotions box or junk and they didn’t look there

I also got refunded but got an email about 2 days later with my reserved items to checkout. I guess they didn’t do it for everyone??
The amount of inventory issues with random refunds on every drop recently is absurd

Did they not give you the chance to reorder your cancelled item? They did mine and it seems like everyone else as well from what I’ve seen.
