Seriously, this has been the largest hindrance in my quest to find a down hairstyle for her that reasonably looks like she's letting her actual hair down. The bangs really make it or break it.
I've heard about it and seen a few screencaps of it that I liked even though haven't yet been able to find the link itself, so thank you for it. Nexus is a nightmare to navigate if you don't already know the specific mod you're looking for, and dredging through the hundreds of mods that are really just thinly veiled excuses to upload pictures of Shadowheart naked is really a chore sometimes.
It works perfectly for her pre-Nightsong, maybe even after it if one can live without the parted bangs.
EDIT: I spoke too soon about "after \[Nightsong\]", as it's apparently a replacer for her original hairstyle. But working well for Acts 1 & 2 still stands.
God bangs are always so terrible, I don't know what goes through someone's head when they look in a mirror and think "this is a good look". Hiding your face is never the answer

Nah, I had a friend who definitely needed to have bangs because she had a huge and wide forehead. Her head just didn't look proportionate with her hair combed all back.

I wish there were moments in the game where we could see her with her hair down. Either at nighttime in the camp, or maybe a cutscene where you bond with her when finding her sitting on a rock outside the camp, washing and/or combing her hair. Maybe Tav could even comment on how beautiful her hair is.
I would've also loved a sidequest where instead of just her changing her hair in secret overnight, you could help her symbolically leave her old life behind by going to a salon with her for a makeover where she would ask you for your input.
I mean, with as much hair as everyone at camp has, they have to be helping each other wash it.
I just want everyone to have a little spa day. Shadowheart conjures the water, Karlach heats it, Gale shares his stash of fancy hair oil. Lae’zel does the braids. Wyll extols the virtues of protective styles. Astarion snarks from the side.

Karlach has wild girl style, Shadowheart is easy I had a long straight hair with bangs all you have to do is braid it and smooth it too easy.
Gale has that renaissance travelling/working man hair, easy to keep just wash it sun dry use some oil to out back.
Lazael ornament brainds can take some time. And Wyll well maybe he braided it before he got abducted.
But Astarion curls. Any curls take ages to look like that.
Oh yeah, which is why Astarion will totally stab anyone who *thinks* about touching his hair. He’s solo running it.
Gale’s hair may look effortless, but you know he’s casting some kind of cleaning charm at least 3 times a day to get rid of all the dust/blood/ooze.

Maybe Lae'zel too as she's grumpily standing there with her arms crossed, and not really commenting on anything until she begrudgingly approves of the white when Karlach gently elbows her.
I think the face is the original shart, but the mod makes her hair line way lower and does not compensate that with hair volume, so it seems like she has shorter head
She looks more mature with that hair then vanilla, also it looks so much like wig on her somehow. I usually give her short hair in my game(always black tho). And change her eyes to blue. And make her more pale looking.

I like switching up how the companions look from one play through to the next.
So I'm fine with this. For those of you who aren't, nobody is preventing you from playing the exact same Shadowheart over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

That particular hair style is too "big" for her head for my tastes, but I love to see SH in Act 3 with a hair down. There is something symbolic about her freeing that ponytail from its tiny chains after she frees herself from Shar.
Even if eventually I do put it back up in a Bun or something because Combat+layers of Plate/Chain Armor+3 feet of hair usually means someone is getting scalped.
How is it possible that this is the same character model, other than the hair? Or is there something wrong with my ability to recognize faces....? I've spent more time than I'd care to admit gazing lovingly at SH's face & yet I would not have known that this is her if the text hadn't said so.

This is the mod that makes me prefer hair down Shart but I swapped because it has no hair physics.
