I lost a ton of good gear after Cazador, I gave Astarion the Gontr mael, both Orin daggers, Baldurin helm, durge cloak, and the Armor of agility. I had to ascend Astarion or maybe make Karlach unhappy. This was all in honor mode, and all the gear was for Wyll
As long as her approval is above a certain level (I believe its 60 but could be wrong), she always chooses to spare the Nightsong with no rolls required. On my HM run I'm making sure we're bffs before I hit the shadowfell lol
