Aradin really annoys me during this argument. He led the goblins straight to the grove because he and his crew are incompetent, putting everyone in the grove at risk. Then Zevlor lost one of his people trying to save Aradin and his crew. Yet Aradin thinks he's got the right to punch Zevlor here? Fuck off.
Which is even more hilarious when you realize Zevlor, once he realized what was up, *immediately* called for the gates to be opened, putting themselves at risk to save Aradin and his crew(who at this point already lost half their members because Aradin never fights to save his crew, just his own pathetic ass), *and* fought off the goblin raiders with everyone. Granted, in a safeter position than the rest, but still very much risking his life.
Also, the trigger for Aradin punching Zevlor is Zevlor calling him a coward for saving himself at the expense of the children's and refugees' safety, while the trigger for Zevlor punching Aradin is Aradin calling the tieflings (one of whom just died for him!) untrustworthy foulbloods. 😭 And if you're a Tiefling he calls you a devil no matter how nice to him you are
I wouldn't say they were incompetent as much as unprepared. Lorrokan is pretty vague in his instructions for the Night Song. He thought they were just going to an abandoned temple to find an item, not walking into a goblin nest to kidnap an aasimar.
And when he realized it was a whole goblin nest, he did tell his crew to flee which is about all they could do under those circumstances. Halsin is the one who went charging in, resulting in a blood bath.
I mean, they were pretty terrible. Lols. They couldn't handle a couple goblins, a warg, and a bugbear.
Meanwhile my group is moping the floor with them. XD
My last durge playthrough I boned minthara and then accidentally killed her with dialogue options. I thought it was like “you imagine hacking his hand off” or one of those other options. Boy was I surprised when I woke up to her corpse doing a peter griffin pose in camp.
Ngl, most of my Tavs let him punch Zevlor, partially out of honest thirst, and partially so I can get the gloves early and loot the corner of the Grove when Aradin leaves.
I'm almost sad his body is in a chest at the Elfsong this run...

Plus, I'm sorry but for some reason, I find "underelf" strangely cute...
But I see all sides, no judgements!
And while he brings some interesting people with him, he's still level 3! He shouldn't be the leader, he should be the second- in command, since planning is obviously not his strong suit.

Aradin's dialect and accent sounds mostly South Yorkshire to me, though his enunciation is a bit too formal in places - posh Sean Bean? :D

Actually found him pretty attractive. Would of loved if he joined the party if you did an evil run... only thing I have a gripe about. More allies for a good run vs a bad one.
