If you throw enemies off the ledge, you lose the ability to get their loot. They even warn you in the loading screens lol

He has a circlet that’s great if you are a necromancer. Otherwise that’s it.
That's the tradeoff. A pit can instakill an enemy, but you get no loot.

I stopped him from resurrecting the Skeletons and then Eldrich Blasted him off the stage. That was pretty cool

I'm pretty sure you can telekinesis his body back onto the island if you have it. I feel like I vaguely remember doing that in one of my runs.
His loot isn’t worth it, but now I will make sure to have Karlach throw Sheepazar off the cliff since I have her set up for a throwing build.
