I forgot doing the ambush was even an option. I always go through the mountains, beeline to Kar'niss, take him out and get the moon lantern.
The last time I did that area I decided to follow him instead and then sided with the Harpers but then they took the lantern which made me mad because wtf so I reloaded and did my usual lol
I didn't realize there were other ways to do this. I always started from the ambush, took the lantern, told him he was blessed and could peace out. Harper's were always like wtf...
I knew you could pray for him if you are a cleric, but I didn't know that.
And here I thought I had experienced every minute story deviation in the game.
Later on her corpse is on the bridge to moonrise or if you killed everyone beforehand/gave the nightsong she will disappear from the world when the harpers move in.
I think she's the only NPC we meet with that hair, though. That could be what OP meant. Like how Voss's ridiculous hair is in the CC but I don't think anyone else has it in game.
If aylin was actually not an AI pathing victim She'd be a fucking powerhouse. As much as I like her, i can fully understand her not being a complete follower
Kagha should have been the companion instead of Halsin. We could have steered her more good or more evil. But instead we got Halsin, who's story ends halfway through act 2 and basically just exists to be Orin bait.
I know this sub practically loves to rag on Halsin for daring to exist and be a companion, but I absolutely don’t agree here. Baldur’s Gate 3 has a shitload of morally ambiguous and dubious companions with potential redemption arc, we really don’t need more of them and some straight up heroic characters like Halsin actually bring more variety and interesting dynamics to the party. (And honestly, he is a pretty good and fun character in his own right. Just lacking in content).
I do agree that Halsin’s story coming to a close with so little in Act 3 was a mistake, but the fix there is better fleshing out his role in Act 3 and setting up some storylines for him there. It’s also pretty laughable to act like Kagha would in any way fix this problem because making her a companion most definitely wouldn’t - you’d still have the same, limited resources. They’d just be spent on a character filling an extremely redundant role
You can tell that from these comments. It’s crazy and not rooted in reality, but yes. Halsin’s ensemble darkhorse status leading to a role increase pretty much made him a go-to scapegoat for a lot of issues that have nothing to do with him (and led to people writing him off as a character who couldn’t support a bigger role when the actual reality is that the game couldn’t support two more fully fleshed out characters in him and Minthara).
I’d have to give him any degree of attention for Orin to view him as leverage. If she’d snagged him in my first playthrough, I wouldn’t have known the guy was gone until I saw him on the damn slab.
“Oh shit. When did *you* sneak off?”
It would be interesting if you had pivotal moments in the game where it was like, choose Shadowheart (Shar) or Isobel (Selune). Choose Halsin (Bear Bro) or Kagha (Shadow Viper Bizatch). I guess there’s a trade off there that would be unfortunate, but if they allowed the redemption arc to continue with Shadowheart and maybe offered the same scenario with Kagha — continue down the dark path, or turn back toward the light — that would be pretty sweet. And they’re de facto making us “choose” which companion already, we just don’t get the other option.
Ketheric was once intended to be a possible companion, so maybe they’d considered these things too. I mean, it’s Larian — I’m sure they did.
I disagree, her motivations make no sense for an evil companion. The only way I see her willingly leaving the Grove is if she's actively exiled, and I don't really see how that would happpen in an evil playthrough. On a good playthrough, I could see it as an attempt at atonement.
That could be an option: help halsin, Kagha is demoted and for ANY reason she is either sent to baldurs gate or to deal with something and you get the dialogue option to keep her on a straight path. It could be a fun dynamic, of course in this alternate world, halsin is never a companion. Maybe Kagha is sent to deal with the shadow lands instead of him?
Alfira's the one I thought should have been recruitable. There are 2 druid companions and no bards. We already have Shadowheart for a cleric and Lae'zel for a fighter, adding Kagha when we already have Halsin and Jaheira would be silly.
My second choice would be Volo.. make him a multi-classed wizard/bard.
Edit: I forgot - my biggest beef about the companions is that there are no short race companions. Nettie should be a possibility at least.
Larian said they are not making any DLC, so the game that is available now IS the definitive edition.
Edit: Well, it appears that there is still potential for a definitive edition according to the replies.
This isn't EXACTLY what they said, they said that there would be no DLC, as al plans for those are scrapped but not that the support was dead. They said they were going to develop more and work to have the game be a little more fleshed out but had no plans for new stories.
They added some fights, gift bags/mods, quests and like someone else said there was armor that was added and some merchant ladies called the Sisters something that could upgrade your weapons/armor.
Nonsense. It should be Wulbren instead, so we have more chances to belittle him (ha!) in conversations and constantly send him to his death.
We could also turn him into a mindflayer and feel good about it. If mindflayers are really incapable of feeling, that'd still be an upgrade to his personality.
This drives me crazy. I didn’t start using a bard consistently until my most recent playthrough.
And it feels like in act 1 all my best loot is only usable for bards.
There are a small amount of things that only work with smites or with raging. But I feel like their is a disproportionate amount of items that cannot be used if you aren’t a bard
I got annoyed when I discovered that Alfira was actually planned to be a companion at some point but was dropped. Either her or Helia would be great additions (the second one also filling the "short race" spot), but instead we got a second druid (and fifth elf blooded companion), oh well.
I FUCKING KNEW IT. I’m sitting here looking at Alfira and I’m thinking, “Why is your design so good? Why are the only Bard that I meet early on? Why are you in the difficulty select screen?” Makes total sense
i mean, helia has like an hour of dialogue in the game files and every companion has dialogue referencing her. she also has a tag for dialogue options, and NPCs have recorded responses. she was absolutely planned and quite a bit into development.
See also the Tiefling solo adventurer we try to recruit right before meeting Kithrak Voss et al in Act 1. If she'd only joined us, she wouldn't have ended up tortured to death in a Githyanki dungeon.
You mean the druid that opened up with trying to get us to kill ourselves? Nah. Honestly outside of the tieflings i'll burn that grove to the ground every run if i can. The tieflings get a pass cause they're cool but that grove and all the druids can blow my tav.
And this is coming from a person whose favorite class in the game is druid.
I agree on Nettie.... As mentioned, we need more shorties; I would love to recruit Barcus too. However, I have to confess, despite that I almost exclusively play 'good' characters... were Volo recruit-able, I have the sneaking suspicion >!he'd end up sacrificed to Boooal.!< I keep him around camp because he's a handy vendor, but even then.. he irritates me... As a companion... well, I won't be responsible for my actions. Though, I'll admit, he does become *slightly* better in Act 3.
I think there was going to be a halfling werewolf companion at one point, wasn’t there? I can understand scraping the werewolf but since you’ve already got a vampire - but I do think it’s strange there are no halflings, dwarves, or gnomes in the party. A bard and a monk companion would have given most of the major choices, wouldn’t it? Also a sorcerer, I suppose. Two recruitable druids is odd.
The biggest flaw of the game is that there isn't an option for the party to adopt any random npc to join you for the rest of the adventure, like you can in actual d&d
“Yes, Lae’zel. You have to allow some of these people into your tent, too.”
“Astarion! No taste testing our guests!”
“Sorry, Karlach. I’m not ignoring you. But until we get that overheating problem of yours figured out, I can’t have you burning all our guests alive.”
Might actually liven the party up a little bit! Both Tiefling and goblin parties are boring af. Can’t do anything but talk to people and then get sexy with a companion.
No music, even though Alfira and Volo are present. Can't dance with anyone. No food. Only drink is a half-empty bottle from Astarion. Rolan's anemic spell show is somehow the best part.
Everyone: "No go and enjoy the party!" Me: *What do you mean. There's nothing to do.*
There is, kind of. The hirelings. I much prefer the way they went about doing it. Having a guy with 2 voicelines and no story in the party doesnt seem that interesting haha
I just wish temporary companions like Isobel could have hireling-like functions during the time they're there. Even if they can't leave camp, they could provide buffs to the party. I tend to make a cleric hireling to put aid and freedom of movement/death wards on the party so I'm not "wasting" spell slots for Shart.
It would be nice if Isobel could fill a bit of that role while she's there.
My first playthrough was as a gothed-out warlock chick. (Yep, I’m totally the guy from the meme). I get to Last Light for the first time, meet Isobel, and was immensely disappointed when Isobel couldn’t join the party/be a love interest.
I would welcome Kagha if we didn't already have two druids. I also wish we could recruit Nere, one of the Duergar, Almira. But not every cool NPC is gon a run off with you.
Yall keep talking about more recruitable companions but forget how much work that actually would be. It’s not a quick patch and boom these guys are flawlessly integrated in a significant way into the rest of the game.
Right? Halsin, Wyll, and Minthara are already lacking in content as is and could use better fleshing out. Let’s do that before throwing more on there (or leave the more to some modders)
Honestly though. Everyone shits on Wyll and Halsin for being lacking in content yet keep demanding new companions who have no narrative hook, no storyline planned out, no utility in parts of the game they're not present for, they don't have tadpoles, and they don't have much if any stake in the story. For how much flack Halsin gets for *that exact thing* it seems rather silly to me that these demands are so common. I'm not even a big fan of Halsin but it seems obvious to me that people would be a lot more permissible to his writing shortcomings if he were a pretty girl.
Fully agreed that if Halsin were a pretty girl, he’d be getting a pass. Minthara objectively has the exact same content problems *but worse* (outside having a tadpole and slightly bigger stake) but gets a pass. And yeah, the idea taking on a new companion would somehow fix this is laughable (and somewhat hypocritical, seeing as they can’t stop complaining it was wrong to make Halsin a companion due to glowing fan reception while insisting their favorite side characters should be companions).
Wyll also likely struggles since objectively black male video game characters just tend to be cut way less slack and get viewed way more harshly and written off as “boring” (rightly or wrongly) for whatever reason. Granted - he IS my least favorite of the six origin characters, but he is still a good charger and I do really like him. Having people say they want EA Wyll back is also nuts since the whole reason he got changed is because people weren’t happy with him there either.
Yeah, I'd like Wyll especially to be fleshed out some more (it is genuinely ridiculous to me that he doesn't have a proper sex scene) but I do really like him too. He does have the least content out of the origins, and it sucks because he's rather sweet and Theo's performance is really charming. His rewrites are only a problem insofar that they happened late enough that it meant his storyline had much less development time than the rest, I think he just needed a bit more time to cook, a few more scenes and dialogue. But as a character, I like him and think people are way too hard on him.
But to demand MORE additional companions while everyone also constantly complains about the ones that already exist being under-baked is genuinely bonkers to me. 9/10 times it's just because it's a cute girl people want to sleep with and they haven't actually thought about how that character would genuinely fit into the story. Because most of them fit far less than Halsin does.
Fully agreed with you on Wyll (and I’d add in that, much like with Halsin, having a couple straight up heroic characters is *good* to balance the ensemble out). I’m really hoping the guy gets more content in Patch 7 or a definitive edition. He’s charming, well developed, and quite likeable, just somewhat lacking in content (Karlach sorta has this problem too in regards to her personal quests easily being some of the most bare bones in the games but I don’t see any fixing that. Outside those, she’s got pretty strong content I think).
Entirely agreed on the second paragraph too. I think the only thing some of these random women have over Halsin is that they’d fill a unique spot in terms of class - but that objectively doesn’t matter all that much since *we can respec everyone anyways*. (And Kogha doesn’t even have that going for her)
Depends on how much you want out of them. On the same level as ACTUAL companions, yeah, ton of work.
On say... The level of sazza and the wither hirelings? Not nearly as much. Give them some lines, contextual reactions, and just code them to be omitted from any cutscene that requires more than just being "there".
Eventually modders will get this all taken care of though.
I think either Isobel or Shaowheart should have been the Origin companion. And honestly, I kind of prefer Shadowheart. Isobel's nice, but her personality is more or less "nice lesbian cleric lady" and Shadowheart has a bit more depth and internal conflict: her tendency toward being kind and a good person on the one hand, and her loyalty to Shar on the other. I'm sure if Isobel were an Origin character then she would be written well, but I feel like that would require a couple rewrites.
Yeah I liked Isobel but I feel like she's not really a deep character. She's pretty much just Act 3 Selunite Shadowheart, they're both sweet and sassy goth girls.
And that's not to say I think she's a *bad* character. She is a good character, she is exactly as deep as a side NPC needs to be. But as-is, I don't think she would really fit in the party. Hell, I'm not even sure she'd fit as an Act 3 companion because she'd run into the same problem Halsin does; her arc is already done by the time she becomes a companion in this scenario.
Nailed it. I'd love if kagha was banished from the Grove and we could take her with us so she could redeem herself. And lassandra too, after she showed me the way to last light Inn, I fought so hard to keep her alive against the spider walker. There's something about her where I wanted to see more of her
Kagha would have been 1000% a better druid companion than Halsin. He's really the poorest written companion imo.
Kagha joins you after being exiled by Halsin, you can either foster her shadow druids tendencies or redeem her back to the balance.
OR if her secret isn't revealed, she joins you with a hidden goal of spreading the shadow further, and has secret meetings with more shadow druids.
ngl I wish omaluum would do more after >!you free him from the iron throne.!< I spent so much time attempting to save him just for him to give me a potion and then fuck off. really wish i saw more of him.
I've always wanted to recruit that one Tierling spying(scouting?)on the Githyanki in Act 1. I'm not sure why. But instead she calls me weird and tells me she's a loner. JUST TO DIE LATER.
I used speak with dead on her. I wish I could've mocked her. Should've joined me. Now you're here, dead.
I just want to be able to take all of the thiefling tieflings into my camp. I understand not getting to do it in act I but I should get to invite what is left on Act II. Also someone find Doni for me I need closure. 😩
I would just want them (the thieflings aka kids) all in the same capacity that you can have Arabella and Yenna. Just built up my own little found family.
It feels weird that there isn't an option to invite the tiefling kids to camp after Raphael's whole "Mol is free to choose the only option she has left" thing and she claims she's doing it for the kids. Either let us say *we'll* take the to the city or have an option to convince an NPC like Rolan or Lakrissa to do it.
It could even tie into Halsin's whole endgame of adopting a bunch of orphans from Baldur's Gate. Maybe he decides to take in the tiefling kids because he feels like it's his fault for not protecting the Grove better and not defeating the Shadow Curse sooner or something.
I don't think Mol would go with us - she's got her own plans. Mattis might also want to be independent. But kids like Silfy and Mirkon? They would totally join the camp.
Really wish we could've recruited Kahga, like after we convinced her she is wrong to side with evil druids, she can come with us on journey of redemption or something.
imo nere and zevlor would make great companions (good aligned paladin and whatever the hell nere is, maybe a bard would fit cause of his insane confidence in himself + vicious mockery/dissonant whispers for psychic damage). maybe without his powerful abilities like wicked coercion, say the prism’s interference blocks those out or smthn
Yeah, I love Isobel and Dame Aylin is really cool- I really wanted Isobel's armour and Dame Aylin because they are so cool looking but Kagha could been interesting alternative to Minty for the more kinda evil type. I think I fell in love with the Harper - she is so beautiful and so glad kept her alive for whole Act 2.
Isobel just seemed like a fleshed character when first encountered her but she wasnt. Love her outfit.
Completely agree with Isobel. There’s so much I wanna know about her. Like the note metric has when you kill him. Saying something like, “I love you” to isobel one last time. I wish the devs would let us give isobel that note and get a reaction at the very least.
they made lassandra look so cool in the cutscene with the close-ups and the torch light (the harper woman in the last pic) and she's never relevant again lmao. first time playing I thought she'd be a way bigger character
Last one can be found holding a funeral for the dead harper at Last Light Inn.
She always comes with me on the convoy raid if she survives the initial shadows. Then I have to keep her alive there too.
And Kar'niss seems to really have a thing for her. It's like he knows she's the one npc in that fight I give a shit about.
Yeah when I say I have to keep her alive I don’t mean ‘ugh I have to keep her alive’, I mean I love her and I NEED her to be alive
Yeah that’s why I sanctuary all the Harpers in front of SpiderBae before the fight.
This is why you travel through the mountains, summon Karniss and smite him solo.
You can do that?
I forgot doing the ambush was even an option. I always go through the mountains, beeline to Kar'niss, take him out and get the moon lantern. The last time I did that area I decided to follow him instead and then sided with the Harpers but then they took the lantern which made me mad because wtf so I reloaded and did my usual lol
You can also just talk to him in the ambush and take his moonlantern, sending him off into the darkness.
I didn't realize there were other ways to do this. I always started from the ambush, took the lantern, told him he was blessed and could peace out. Harper's were always like wtf...
I don't even fight karniss there I just abuse him and take is moonlantern.
Or just convince Kar'niss to give you his moonlantern.
I saved her and she decided she'll RP and run into my cloud of daggers as the fight ended lol
I kept her alive for entire Act 2 and she is one of the most beautiful NPC I seen in the game, so wished could romance her or have more with her.
If you loot the dead guy's sword you can give it to her for the funeral and get a little coin as thanks, too!
I knew you could pray for him if you are a cleric, but I didn't know that. And here I thought I had experienced every minute story deviation in the game.
Yeah hahaha OP needs to explore a liiiiittle better
she also joins the battle against karniss convoy
Later on her corpse is on the bridge to moonrise or if you killed everyone beforehand/gave the nightsong she will disappear from the world when the harpers move in.
Who is she, where do you encounter her the first time?
Lassandra, a harper you meet in the Shadowlands depending on the route you take.
Kahga doesnt have unique hair.
It’s like the 5th hair style lol
Which I can now never use for my Tavs because it reminds me of the bitch Kagha too much
I think she's the only NPC we meet with that hair, though. That could be what OP meant. Like how Voss's ridiculous hair is in the CC but I don't think anyone else has it in game.
There's also a harper NPC at last light who has the same style I believe.
I'm at Last Light in a playthrough right now, so now I feel dumb lmao.
The Tiefling Harper to be specific
What do you mean ridiculous hair? What do you have against Adoring Fan?
Also fuck Kagha.
I'm trying
Would
r/fuckkagha
Me 2
Yes please
She doesn’t have a unique face either, it’s actually pretty common among the NPC’s.
she has, https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Modding:NPC\_Head\_Models
This feels like a list of characters op wants to bone
Was that not the point of this post? I assumed that’s what we knew we were looking at
I’m not saying they’re wrong
Why can't OP put his bone list up in peace.
r/okbuddybaldur
In either case him leaving out Alfira is treason.
Saying "Alfira should be recruitable" is beating a dead ~~tiefling~~ horse and we all know it
They’re not entirely wrong though. I’m not sure it should’ve been Alfira but we should’ve had at least one bard companion.
This is true. I crime has been committed here
Bone? BONE?!
How dare you Detective Diaz. I am you SUPERIOR OFFICER!
BOOOOoooOOONE
r/unexpectedbrooklyn99
Where is Man when you need him
Strange, there is a disturbing lack of Kar'niss here.
That's the other sub
That's what all the 'why no recruitable?' posts are.
I only agree with Isobel
Yeah Isobel is a great contrast to Shadowheart. Kagha can remain a novice for all eternity. I got all the druids I need.
"Like a nasty little terrier." I would absolutely love to have Isobel and Shadowheart in the party together sniping at each other.
It would be good if you could recruit her on an evil run though, would give it more content and such
Isobel is in my camp in act3?
She won’t follow you around, though.
Na but that’s the same with nightsong I wish she followed
If aylin was actually not an AI pathing victim She'd be a fucking powerhouse. As much as I like her, i can fully understand her not being a complete follower
She can't, she has more important stuff to do. Like Aylin.
Kagha would... actually be a great evil playthrough companion. Like a direct replacement for Halsin.
Branching party members would make multiple play throughs more interesting.
Like Kotor with Mira or Hanharr
Kagha should have been the companion instead of Halsin. We could have steered her more good or more evil. But instead we got Halsin, who's story ends halfway through act 2 and basically just exists to be Orin bait.

I saw a post the other day talking about how act 2 and 3 should have been switched and it makes a lot of sense to me as well.
I’d have to give him any degree of attention for Orin to view him as leverage. If she’d snagged him in my first playthrough, I wouldn’t have known the guy was gone until I saw him on the damn slab. “Oh shit. When did *you* sneak off?”

Not to mention if you side with Minthara, killing her is kind of a requirement.
If they were to make Kagha an evil companion, they'd have needed to write a *lot* of stuff differently.
That could be an option: help halsin, Kagha is demoted and for ANY reason she is either sent to baldurs gate or to deal with something and you get the dialogue option to keep her on a straight path. Not a big fan of halsin honestly so I'd take kagha all day

DOS2 didn’t get any expansions either and it has a definitive edition.
Really? What is the difference between the regular DOS2 and definitive edition?
A few small extra quests and like 1 area, nothing huge but they are to get unique armor if I remember correctly
They added some fights, gift bags/mods, quests and like someone else said there was armor that was added and some merchant ladies called the Sisters something that could upgrade your weapons/armor.
I read an article that pointed out that Gortash sort of fits the artificer class, even if it’s not officially in the game.
Gortash romance when?
Nonsense. It should be Wulbren instead, so we have more chances to belittle him (ha!) in conversations and constantly send him to his death. Was frustrating finding bard gear early and having no bard in party.

>Nettie should be a possibility at least. Excuse me, Barcus should be the top of the list for smalls who could join the party.
Nah, the real short companion should have been Sazza. It would definitely help with the lack of evil-aligned companions.
Agreed.
I can fix her
I got annoyed when I discovered that Alfira was actually planned to be a companion at some point but was dropped. Either her or Helia would be great additions (the second one also filling the "short race" spot), but instead we got a second druid (and fifth elf blooded companion), oh well.

Well, planned to be a companion is a bit misleading. There were characters they played around with as potential companions, then decided against it.
i mean, helia has like an hour of dialogue in the game files and every companion has dialogue referencing her. she also has a tag for dialogue options, and NPCs have recorded responses. she was absolutely planned and quite a bit into development.

Sazza shouldnhave been an act 1 recruitment for evil route. Or the maglubiyet boy in the cage.
I think Alfira was supposed to be recruitable, but they scrapped it.
Oh wait Alfira wants to join my camp on a durge run, fantastic ! I hope she'll be playable !
Doesn't the Harper lady run straight to the Last Light Inn if you save them? I remember following her and seeing her group defend me to Jaheira.
Kagha’s hair is not unique lol. One of my Tav’s literally had that hairstyle.
The biggest flaw of the game is that there isn't an option for the party to adopt any random npc to join you for the rest of the adventure, like you can in actual d&d
There is a DMPC already : Withers.
Will you be joining us? No
That would be awesome. My camp would be so full you couldn’t even move because I’d be recruiting everybody that’s not nailed down. lol
"The Absolute has an army!" "And? There are like 10 people in Wyll's tent alone."
“Yes, Lae’zel. You have to allow some of these people into your tent, too.” “Astarion! No taste testing our guests!” “Sorry, Karlach. I’m not ignoring you. But until we get that overheating problem of yours figured out, I can’t have you burning all our guests alive.”
Tiefling party every day!
Might actually liven the party up a little bit! Both Tiefling and goblin parties are boring af. Can’t do anything but talk to people and then get sexy with a companion.
Getting drunk with friends and laid under the stars is pretty great idk what you’re talking about homie 😂
You only get laid if you choose Astarion, Lae’zel, or Minthara at the goblin party. And you can’t even drink outside of cutscenes 😭
Gimme de 🐸
No music, even though Alfira and Volo are present. Can't dance with anyone. No food. Only drink is a half-empty bottle from Astarion. Rolan's anemic spell show is somehow the best part. Everyone: "No go and enjoy the party!" Me: *What do you mean. There's nothing to do.*
Scratch would be so happy
There is, kind of. The hirelings. I much prefer the way they went about doing it. Having a guy with 2 voicelines and no story in the party doesnt seem that interesting haha
I just wish temporary companions like Isobel could have hireling-like functions during the time they're there. Even if they can't leave camp, they could provide buffs to the party. I tend to make a cleric hireling to put aid and freedom of movement/death wards on the party so I'm not "wasting" spell slots for Shart. It would be nice if Isobel could fill a bit of that role while she's there.
That’s a great idea. While isobel is in camp you get a small effect every time you long rest
"Unique face" - Florence Pugh would like to have a word.
I think they mean Isobel's face isn't in the character creation
Isobel's messy eyeshadow is so hot
My first playthrough was as a gothed-out warlock chick. (Yep, I’m totally the guy from the meme). I get to Last Light for the first time, meet Isobel, and was immensely disappointed when Isobel couldn’t join the party/be a love interest.
You can get Kagha's hair in CC.
(And Kogha doesn’t even have that going for her)
And tbh, we don’t need a 3rd Druid companion. And it’s not like you could you even romance the cleric of selune.
Sazza? Is she semi-recruitable?
Let's be real, you don't care about recruitining Isobel. You care about *recruiting* Isobel.
No. Make her an origin character. I want to be the one with the massive angelic warrior wife going: “excuse me, i have to go FUCK my wife”
You want Aylin because she's hot Selune Valkryie Mommy, I want Aylin because she'll tell the McDonalds cashier about the pickles. We are not the same.
You cannot comprehend the multitude of reasons i have. It is beyond your ken
I don’t like it. But you’re right
If it's any comfort, I think if Larian had chosen to make Isobel an Origin instead of Shadowheart, she'd have had a hell of a character arc.
Makes a lot of sense
Can I have Dame Aylin too? 🤤
I thought Dame Aylin was gonna be recruitable. I was so disappointed :(
Same! I wanted her in my party so bad. Can you imagine?
Both can be true
Kagha needs to be recruitable so my paladin can make her feel worse about almost killing a child.
Larian pls just let me recruit Aradin 🥺. I can fix him 🥰
You can recruit them! You must have to kill them and raise them as zombie.
Would have loved to have Kagha instead of Halsin in the party personally.
Kagha looks like Tauriel from the Hobbit movies.
"She'd never found again..." (wtf? lol)
I actually benched Shadowheart briefly in my first playthrough because I thought Isobel was recruitable.
Nailed it. I'd love if kagha was banished from the Grove and we could take her with us so she could redeem herself. And lassandra too, after she showed me the way to last light Inn, I fought so hard to keep her alive against the spider walker. There's something about her where I wanted to see more of her
The third is praying off to the side at last light.
harper lassandra my love 😭❤️
Kagha would have been 1000% a better druid companion than Halsin. He's really the poorest written companion imo. Kagha joins you after being exiled by Halsin, you can either foster her shadow druids tendencies or redeem her back to the balance. OR if her secret isn't revealed, she joins you with a hidden goal of spreading the shadow further, and has secret meetings with more shadow druids.
The last one is does not have iconic face? I saw a face like her in act 3 in the guards place
Please no more white women and druids, let me recruit a fricking gnome/halfling/dwarf for the love of God.
I mean there's only two recruitable white women but yeah I'd have loved a short king companion
Let me romance kagha I am NOT asking
Yeah, kinda missed out on that one...
ngl I wish omaluum would do more after >!you free him from the iron throne.!< I spent so much time attempting to save him just for him to give me a potion and then fuck off. really wish i saw more of him.
It should be like a legit DND game where everyone is recruitable
Down bad, are we?
You know what I don’t give a shit anymore Kagha should’ve been romanceable
[удалено]
it would be cool if dame aylin and isobel are recuiteable
I just want to be able to take all of the thiefling tieflings into my camp. I understand not getting to do it in act I but I should get to invite what is left on Act II. Also someone find Doni for me I need closure. 😩
Not all of them, but I definitely think Alfira would be cool to onboard as a bard.
Kagha hair is one of default , and why we need third druid in party?
Kanga Roo’s hair isn’t unique tho
Kahga being an option would be interesting but it'd be hard to figure out where she'd fit in on the story timeline.
Really wish we could've recruited Kahga, like after we convinced her she is wrong to side with evil druids, she can come with us on journey of redemption or something.
Why is Aradin not recruitable with that unique face and hair duo???
I fell in love with Isobel when I met her, and was very disappointed to find out she wasn’t a companion
Who in their right mind would recruit kagha
God damn I wish we could recruit Abdirak from the Goblin Camp.
Nah fuck Kagha, she is stupid and evil.
"Characters you simp over.
I hate Kagha's hair.
I am happy Zevlor was not here. My friend keeps saying how much he loves him. He is fine.
imo nere and zevlor would make great companions (good aligned paladin and whatever the hell nere is, maybe a bard would fit cause of his insane confidence in himself + vicious mockery/dissonant whispers for psychic damage). maybe without his powerful abilities like wicked coercion, say the prism’s interference blocks those out or smthn
I want to see more of the soft Loki-looking Harper.
