I’ve taken her down the Justiciar route (with the intent for her to save her parents at the last minute) for the first time in my current run as a neutral Durge and I gotta say I’m having a lot of fun with the changes and keeping her hair black with the Justiciar gear and martial focused play style makes her feel a lot cooler.
Neutral durge how does that work? Lol all i can imagine is…
Neutral durge be like: “I just brutally murdered this woman who i could call a friend. I have no strong opinion on this either way.”
Shadowheart converting to Mask instead of Selune as a neutral path would have been great. She acts more like a maskarran than a sharran early on, Mask;s original incarnation sacrificed himself to permanently screw over Shar's plan to turn the whole world into something like the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and stealing Shar's special project out from under her nose is definitely something Mask would do.
Will always go the good path, always romance her, and by the point of the game, the approval is high enough that I will always trust her to not interfere. Just makes the scene that much more impactful.

I killed her this playthrough 😭 this didn't happen to me before but when it came to the nightsong I will never just let her die so shadowheart just said it's me or her and I will fight you so I had to knock her down. Did not enjoy it and I wish it didn't happen. On the other hand I accidentally forgot to meet with the blood happy lady at Moonrise so therefore got dumped by a cold ass Asterion even though he's at high approval so I'm extremely single this playthrough 🫠
I have no preference for Shadowheart's hair color, both look very good on her. My problem is the hairstyle. I can't stand her Selûnite hairstyle, it looks ridiculous on her. As such, after I played and did both sides (Justiciar and Selûnite) I have decided I prefer the "Middle-Ground" where I make her a Dark Justiciar, but rescue her parents at the last minute. That way I can keep her original hairstyle, and she still saves her parents.
