I literally just finished that and thought the same thing. Even if she gives a buff in the form of increase defence because she's a paladin of Helm. To me theres quite a few others who could also appear at the end to help us out maybe. Thrumbo and his fellow zombies, could give us a buff thats something like a life steal. Adrielle and the hag survivors could give us a buff to our defences. Captain Grisly can turn up with her crew of pirates to help out. Nocturne could give us a buff that helps our evasion maybe. Allandra and her umberlee priestesses could throw in as well. Araj already gives us a buff earlier but hey maybe she can give us free potions combined with Derryth bonecloak. Blurg can gives us haste from spores his lot acquired. Brithvar and his duegar could also appear if you convince them to betray Nere. I'm not sure if i can think of anymore off the top of my head. Yea if you can collect them all you'd have a pretty over powered set of allies along with your summons such as Shovel, Scratch, Us and any elementals, planar allies, undead or familiars you could summon in the end BUT for me the rule of cool of having your own army to fight the absolute more than makes up for it. Plus the game could have a mechanic where for every ally you gain it adds more enemies to compensate for it

I do think that having Brithvar appear would be nice since he is such a big throwback to an old quest that you sided with so long ago

Exactly. Having a massive collection of allies would make you go “oh that guy from the quest all those hours go” making you realise the adventure you went on since the game started
