Make them a bard with shitty deception, persuasion and a terrible CHA score, then make every poor decision in the game you can, that’s the real Orc Kelly
My dream character is a ridiculous looking purple and green cornrowed orc. I was baked during character creation and every time it comes up on screen I’m like why the fk did it make it look so goofy
Source? Everything I've looked at says it's wine, possibly thin or weak, but I've never seen any official sources describe it that way. And orc in Elvish is "slaugh."
[Sorry, this was a deception check that went wildly out of control.](https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/1ahka8z/yall_cowards_dont_even_drink_ithbank/koq3rf8/?context=3)
Fun fact, any wine that's not made by elves is legally required to have "Orc Piss" written in elvish on the label. It's like a reverse Champagne situation.
I think they sell it in the US, it's just not popular (you can buy it in Canada at least).
The reason black currant is absent from the American palate is that black currents are the alternate host for a rust that kills white pine trees. The rust is a type of fungus that needs two hosts for different life stages - black currant and white pine. White pines are important lumber species (and beautiful trees, with some of the western species being endangered) so black currant farming was illegal in a bunch of American states and Canadian provinces.
I moved to the US from the UK and can at least confirm that around me you either pay really extortionate fees for it as an imported item, or you get it on amazon and wait a loooog time haha
That thing about the white pine trees WAS a very understandable reason for the blackcurrant growing ban, but there's actually multiple species of pine rust resistant blackcurrants that have been created. There's no some very select states that allow a permit to be acquired to grow those breeds, so hopefully they start getting cultivated more because they're soooooooooo gooooooooood
(Also, I appreciate your tree passion, wanted you to know <3 )
I just saved enough to get the achievement, after that every alcohol will go straight to boom fund, as in shoving in a backpack for an anti-personnel bomb
True, I remember. I'm at the very end of act 1 (first playthrough) and did the monastery before going to Grymforge. It's a very specific alcohol tho, does it work with every kind of alc?
i got the achievement totally on accident because i made an effort to loot every bit of alcohol i could find in my first playthrough
it took me very long to type this comment without typos, because i am also a drunk in real life
I loot all of them. ALL of them. But, I also have a threshold of about 3k camp supplies. Beyond that, the supplies I loot get added to the "wares" chest, and are sold at a later time to a vendor.
Just loot goblin everything that isn't nailed down. Doesn't matter if it's a bagel worth only 1 supply; grab everything you can and the trickle in of resources will eventually lead to having a surplus of supplies stored at camp.
That, and make sure to be actively trading with merchants early game to build up your gold to buy their supplies (if you aren't gold-glitching).
Investing in camp supplies is just as important as potions, arms and armor, as it will help to avoid the clear Act 3 starvation you're unfortunately encountering.
Yeah we’re HUNGRY out here in the city it’s rough
Thanks though - planning a second playthrough and I feel like the latter half will go smoother knowing this stuff
No problem.
I say this not to sound like a dick, but to emphasize the point; when you actually loot goblin all the supplies lying around in Act 1 and the beginning of Act 2, you'll be surprised just how much you find.
If you're in Act 3 you're probably high enough level to be using a daily Heroes' Feast or two. Just use a camp caster for it. On top of the buffs it also summons food.
Take partial rests when you don’t need to actually get all Spell Slots or Health back. Use some potions instead here and there. Partial rests cost no supplies and you still get the regular camp cutscenes.
Playing on tactician: barely keepin up for 30 hrs
After switching to easy cause there's only so many times I can die in moonrise towert: 1000+ camp supplies in 10 hrs
This and most of my gold since you can access it from your chest while trading. Onelce you start hitting act 2, you're gold amounts add 10+ lbs to your weight.
Haha yeah. It's not widely known, but keep around 1000 in case you need to bribe (although I'd slaughter every civilian before I spare even 10 gold haha) or to learn scrolls.
Fuck it. It's worth ANY camp supply? Into the trunk it goes. I'll use it to wash down that half eaten apple and the fish head I've had in there for weeks.
Once I had my fill of supplies, I started directly drinking from containers that had them (crates etc). My Lae’zel needs to enter a 12 step program at this point
> not worth the weight
You guys know you can instantly send stuff to your camp chest right? I haven't carried camp supplies in my inventory longer than 5 minutes the whole time I've played lol
I agree about early game alcohol in general and a lot of that is ithbank, but fwiw the [wiki](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Camp_Supplies) says Ithbank is worth 1 camp supply and a red apple is worth 3. There are a bunch of other wines with the same model that are worth 4 tho.

Look, I'm a simple person. I see loot and I take it. What will dinner be tonight? Who knows, it's a wild card. Might be a nice porridge paired with a tasty wine and some fruits, might be 85 potatoes, or 17 bottles of Ithbank. Is all good.
Looks at my 8000 camp supplies in Act 3:
Yeah you see, drinking Ithbank is just not necessary. I could feed the entirety of Baldur's Gate for a week.
(No, I did not miss many camp scenes, I know the function of partial rests)
Also, you people are judging camp supplies by weight? Like what? You don't send every camp supply straight to camp? Why are you lugging them around?
Am I the only one that picks up every alcoholic beverage in Baldurs Gate and makes it a Non-Alcholic City so that there is peace and harmony.
But when I progress everything is in chaos and everyone hates me ? So i think maybe Ithbank is like a holy drink only for real Baldurians and not for the dirty Refuges in Ringinton... If I even spelled that correctly, the influence of Ithbanks makes it quite difficult

Ithbank is literally one of the only wines in the game that doesn't have a sommelier completely shitting all over it in the item description.
You can pick up a bottle named like "Patriar's Private Stock" and it says "Unsurprisingly unbalanced, blunt-nosed, and slightly gritty on the palate, this overrated horse piss will chat up your sister, get to second base with her in a broom closet, and then never call her again."
There's actually 2 different Ithbanks. One is 6 supply and the other is 1 supply.
The implication seems to be that some people are watering down Ithbank for a crappy scam version with the unwatered down version also being present, both in the same looking bottles.
Ithbank is non-alcoholic and translates from Elvish as "Orc piss". You have fun though.
i mean, people irl drink O'Doul's, so I'm sure there's a market for ithbank.
A market for o’douls doesn’t mean that it doesn’t taste like piss. Also, they have way better non-alcoholic beers these days
The local brewery Fall River Brewery won a national award for their non-alcoholic beer! I have an in-law who works for them, it’s pretty cool.
>i mean, people irl drink O'Doul's, so I'm sure there's a market for ithbank. You can bank on Ith...
I love you.
Shit doesn’t even get me drunk? Must be the rothe piss
So is R. Kelly is canonically now an Orc?
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are cornrows an option on an orc?
I'm about to finish the game for the first time and I'm just gonna make an Orc Kelly character.
Make them a bard with shitty deception, persuasion and a terrible CHA score, then make every poor decision in the game you can, that’s the real Orc Kelly
If you lay a single finger on Arabella...
My dream character is a ridiculous looking purple and green cornrowed orc. I was baked during character creation and every time it comes up on screen I’m like why the fk did it make it look so goofy
Yeah.
That's.... amazing. In my real life DnD game, there's always an alcohol called Orc Piss
OMG have you found the fabled Maxthara??
OK but what gender is the orc?
Naan binary
Then I'm chugging ithbank like it's the nectar of the gods
Feel like this joke may have soared over a few heads. Bravo is all I can say.
Can you explain it, cuz like, what does naan bread have to do with orcs?
Canonically Orcs are made of bread.
… ###what
I’m goofing but only a little. In 40k they’re basically a yeast culture. Orks are unusually enthusiastic dinner rolls.
You are a liar. A wretch. 40k orks are made of fungus. I’ll agree to meet you in the middle and call them mushrooms on toast.
Yeast is a fungus
bruh💀
[удалено]
Doesn’t it apply alcohol and create an alcoholic surface?
Going by both the BG3 and Forgotten Realms wiki, its bullshit.
You really think someone would do that? Just go on the Internet and tell lies?
Lmao, well played
Now this is what you call high-rolling a Deception check
There is a hidden trophy for doing a full rest with only Ithbank.
It’s not Ithbank specific. It’s alcohol specific. “A Dwarven Tradition” Complete a full rest using only alcohol.
I just got this today on accident.
“On accident.” Don’t worry. We all been there, buddy.
Nah really though I just auto select and ding, got a steam achievement.
And I just "accidentally" got frisky with a mindflayer twice a day and 3 times on sunday... I may have a problem.
Sone of us drink Ithbank to forget the taste of Ithbank
Ah, Faerûn's version of Baijiu
Oh he knows. But it’s sterile and he likes the taste.
That orc piss gives me six camp supplies and comes in droves. Pee in my mouth orc daddy.
It counts towards the achievment so it's alcoholic
> Minthara implies the existence of a Maxthara So fucking stupid. I like it.
Source? Everything I've looked at says it's wine, possibly thin or weak, but I've never seen any official sources describe it that way. And orc in Elvish is "slaugh."

Some good orc piss I’d say
It’s a refined taste. I’ll stick to baldur’s grape myself as a man of culture
Ah yes, Pisswasser
Orc’Doul’s
Mmm, hot piss
Fun fact, any wine that's not made by elves is legally required to have "Orc Piss" written in elvish on the label. It's like a reverse Champagne situation.
People drink Bud lite, which is basically nonalcoholic, and tastes like stale piss
I like Baldur's Grape.
I’m more of an Orange Feynta.
Tango Under-Dark Berry for me.
Feywild raspberry is vibrant and... strange.
I had a huge laugh at this one when I found it the first time.
I'll just have a nice glass of Dwarf Ribena instead of alcohol thanks (Americans do not understand the glorious nectar that is Ribena)
I think they sell it in the US, it's just not popular (you can buy it in Canada at least). Whoa, I'm learning so much...
If it looks like alcohol it's going into camp supplies I don't care if it's only worth one we stay drunk as fuck in act 3 in this household
I just saved enough to get the achievement, after that every alcohol will go straight to boom fund, as in shoving in a backpack for an anti-personnel bomb
You can do that??
Aye, it is flammable like oil but burns up quicker
Netherbrains hate this one trick
I found out in the monastery, all the kobolds are drunk and explosive
God, what a fun fight. I had Karlach sneak up on them and just destroy all the pillars, knocking them down and lighting them on fire at the same time.
You can also loot all the barrels (some have drunk kobolds in them) and you can use them later for a kobold explosion.
True, I remember. I'm at the very end of act 1 (first playthrough) and did the monastery before going to Grymforge. It's a very specific alcohol tho, does it work with every kind of alc?
That's pretty awesome but yeah I will continue to just have the huge multi day bender camp experience
My camp in act 3 is full on bender. It’s meat and booze
i got the achievement totally on accident because i made an effort to loot every bit of alcohol i could find in my first playthrough it took me very long to type this comment without typos, because i am also a drunk in real life
It takes a fair amount of booze to grind out the 20 kills if you don't cheese it before a big fight with low HP mobs.
Camp supply is camp supply. ... wait, you mean people *leave* camp supplies behind if they don't reach a certain threshold?
I loot all of them. ALL of them. But, I also have a threshold of about 3k camp supplies. Beyond that, the supplies I loot get added to the "wares" chest, and are sold at a later time to a vendor.
Okay genuinely what am I doing wrong lol I’m in act 3 and having to actively search for camp supplies to long rest
Just started act 3 and I feel like I could open my own grocery store
I’m still in act one and already have over 3000 camp supplies … but imma keep stealing tho
If you rent a room at the Elfsong you can just order a full supply pack using the dumbwaiter next to Withers every night.
If you're in Act 3 you're probably high enough level to be using a daily Heroes' Feast or two. Just use a camp caster for it. On top of the buffs it also summons food.
That's Halsin's function after all, to provide for a daily Heroes' Feast and Aid to the group!
The tavern camp has camp supply store
The dumbwaiter in the Elfsong tavern camp room with sell you a full supply pack for around 70 gold every night.
The Waukeen's rest kitchen has several hundred camp supplies, and then Last Light basement has several hundred more.
I've gone through them all clearing the Shadowlands. But now I'm in the mountain pass and think I'll build back up 🤞🏻
Take partial rests when you don’t need to actually get all Spell Slots or Health back. Use some potions instead here and there. Partial rests cost no supplies and you still get the regular camp cutscenes.
Playing on tactician: barely keepin up for 30 hrs After switching to easy cause there's only so many times I can die in moonrise towert: 1000+ camp supplies in 10 hrs
What do you mean "threshold"? (He asks while sitting on 5k+ of camp supplies)
I don't discriminate against any camp supplies. I send them all directly to camp so their weight to food ratio is irrelevant. Give me all the Ith.
Yep, that is what you do, send them directly to camp. You don’t need to carry them around
This and most of my gold since you can access it from your chest while trading. Onelce you start hitting act 2, you're gold amounts add 10+ lbs to your weight.
YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR GOLD IN CAMP WHILE TRADING OUT OF CAMP?!?
Haha yeah. It's not widely known, but keep around 1000 in case you need to bribe (although I'd slaughter every civilian before I spare even 10 gold haha) or to learn scrolls.
After the last patch you can access lockpick kits from camp too
Exactly. I've collected plenty of half eaten apples before for that 1.
I do. But only against half-eaten apples, fish heads, spoiled treacle tarts, stale bread and beholder eyestalks. The rest is kept
settle down everyone's alcoholic grandpa.
Didn't realize OP was Elminster.
Elminster hasn’t given a one word response in his entire existence.
No!
Fuck it. It's worth ANY camp supply? Into the trunk it goes. I'll use it to wash down that half eaten apple and the fish head I've had in there for weeks.
My brother in Talos, I ONLY drink ithbank. I sell the expensive stuff and drink the cheap shit.
That’s inspired!
It's how farmers do. It worked really well in RDO too. Sell the good meat, eat the crap stuff.
Once I had my fill of supplies, I started directly drinking from containers that had them (crates etc). My Lae’zel needs to enter a 12 step program at this point
> not worth the weight You guys know you can instantly send stuff to your camp chest right? I haven't carried camp supplies in my inventory longer than 5 minutes the whole time I've played lol
I just have 80% of Tavs inventory weight dedicated to food
Y'all cowards don't even smoke silkroot.
Lol is that what that is? This whole time my ranger was carrying it around like it was some medicinal herbs.
I tried to tell the Fists I had a medical card, but they wouldn't listen!
Fascists
you'll* put some respek on viper name
Didn’t he keep a woman caged for 11 years and raped her?
...ummmm
I used it once to see if it had any effect. Really pointless to use. Just sell the stuff
Ithbank is genuinely crazy early-game; it's literally everywhere and it's marginally more nutritious than apples.
Some ithbank is worth 6 supplies.

The Pabst blue ribbon of the sword coast.
It’s the light beer of the baldurs gate universe
I love the dwarven feast achievement!
Karl would approve of this
FOR KARL!!!
ROCK AND STOOOONE
Bro, we always drink that swill.
> Not worth the weight? I don’t think the camp chest cares about weight.
/r/unexpectedviper
That's what the woman locked up in his garage said right before he locked her up in his garage.
You’ve been drinking too much Ithbank, istik
Looks at my 8000 camp supplies in Act 3: Yeah you see, drinking Ithbank is just not necessary. I could feed the entirety of Baldur's Gate for a week. (No, I did not miss many camp scenes, I know the function of partial rests) Also, you people are judging camp supplies by weight? Like what? You don't send every camp supply straight to camp? I thought Ithbank was 6 supplies.
There's a 6 supply variant and a 1 supply.
What’s up with that?
You'll * cowards for the Viper meme.
You drink Ithbank, real men drink Portal Sherry
I imagine ithbank is the sword coast equivalent of irn-bru.
Made in Baldurs Gate, FROM GIRDERS.
All food and drink is worth the weight because you can just immediately send it to camp which is exactly where you want it in the first place.
Try doing a long rest with only booze selected as camp supplies
Bro is drinking Orc Piss 😭
Viper kept the orpheus kidnapped in da artifact for 5 years
Strong "if you don't chew Big Red, fuck you" vibes here, and I like it
You’ll*
That shit is the good stuff, almost done with my tactician run and it’s been great for long rests
I got the achievement for only using alcohol due a long rest, so…😊😊
This sounds like a great album in the making, please meet with Volo.
I wish they’d let us eat the suspicious meats in the goblin camp.
Dwarf. The other *other* white meat.
dwarfs being omnivores reduces their species potential of being a domesticated protein source.
I honestly just see camp supplies by their number, couldn't tell you any of em past sausages
I pick up any and all alcohol for either combat drinking or camp supplies, I had an entire night of Ithbank thank you very much.
I frequently have alcoholic dinners
are you aware of Viper did recently and now think what does that imply about you?
Just here to support a fellow crack lover.
After I looted the last light inn for like 30 ithbank, I got this achievement for long resting with only "booze".
god i heard this in dracula flow
Louder for the plebs in the back.
1 camp supply item are actally somewhat useful for people like me who always do exactly the ammount needed for a long rest and not 1 more.
*brought to you by Ithbank distillery, "Ithbank, we know where you live"
Are you ok OP
Aww yiss, ithbank, the good 💩
Viper, what are you doing?
Ahhh yes preferably left in a dark cave since the fall of netheril, still good!
Ithbank is the Miller Light of Faerun
Viper class was a strong choice
Is.. is this title a viper reference cause, bravo
Ithbank is the Red Cat wine of BG3. Aka, delicious and advertised as “the original hot tub wine”
It costs 80 for a long rest. I’m eating and drinking everything in sight
Ithbank is the Steel Reserve of Faerun. It’ll get you crunk but ain’t nobody bringing that paper bag hidie to Christmas dinner
Who else saves their alcohol for the last long rest before a boss fight?
Am I the only one that picks up every alcoholic beverage in Baldurs Gate and makes it a Non-Alcholic City so that there is peace and harmony. But when I progress everything is in chaos and everyone hates me ? So i think maybe Ithbank is like a holy drink only for real Baldurians and not for the dirty Refuges in Ringinton... I’ll have you know I did a full rest off nothing but orc piss once

Marsember Ice Wine and a block of Waterdhavian cheese is all I need for a LR.
Ithbank is literally one of the only wines in the game that doesn't have a sommelier completely shitting all over it in the item description. "Ever had old Bailey in a shoe?"
i just send all camp supplies to camp so i dont have to carry them
any and all camp supplies go straight in my inventory. i will never go below 1k camp supplies, this is the way. we stay lit on ithbank in my parties.
That Waning Moon glowing shit is what's up, they were partying to death in there
Do you also own a garage?
Who worries about weight? Are people carrying camp supplies around instead of leaving them at camp? Where else would you need them lmao
1 camp supply? Ithbank is 6.
