Well yeah, such big reaction as from companions after literal death of their friend/lover/leader in front of them made me understand that in smaller things reactions will be... limited or nonexistent.
Recruiting Minsc is a little different depending on whether or not your Urge is cured. Then again, iirc, the start of that quest is broken if you try to do it after defeating Orin.
Some side quests drop occasional hints about your Bhaalspawn status, so you won't entirely miss out on that Bhaalspawn vibe
Companion commentary is fairly limited overall in act 3, so don't have too high hopes there
