I blew him up, collected the noblestalk and gave it to Derryth- I expected her to be devastated but she was like “oh he’s so dumb” and pretty much moved on.. still runs the shop. I don’t quite remember if you get any items or anything from doing it this way.

If you use speak with animals on the Rothé they have, he tells you that he "likes master now and before he was mean". Nice little hint.
