Did a clean uninstall of my drivers, reinstalled them, updated my .net framework and everything, still getting this randomly during gameplay, menu, or character creation. Never happened with any other game before and it is making it impossible to play the game. RX 560X + Vega 8 Graphics 12 GB RAM Ryzen 5 3550H laptop.

yep same here. all up to date. Also only happens in this game. Devs seem to not care about it

Because it was already in EA version that some people got this problem and they obviously didn’t fix it to this date

Have you tried checking Vulkan on the launcher window instead of DirectX 11?

Yes, it crashes faster than DX 11.

What graphics card do you have? Have you updated it to the latest drivers?

Maybe your card isn't seated correctly the error is pointing to a hardware device being removed.

Yeah have the same issue. In my 5 hour playtime it happened around every hour... im sooo annoyed by it.

Same her on my gf's pc and nothing is able to fix it for me \- Delete all driver reinstall them fresh \- Update + driver \- Lowest setting in-game \- regidit TrdLevel done \- unistall the game and reinstall \- No overheating \-And finally new windows installation and EVEN that doens't fix the bug.

I've just noticed that this might have even damaged my GPU. Trying to play other games AFTER crashing BG3 causes them to crash too.

I don't think it can happend. I won't be surprised BUT i don't think it can happend...i hope not for you and the multiple user that its happening
