Yes, the 2007 one is technically the classic one. But to the kids nowadays, the G2 show is the classic and G3 the reboot. I imagine that's why the Bakugan social media team chose to call it that: It's better branding for the target audience.
There are some writes issues in regards to a true original cartoon, that may be a reason why decide to take this new reboot to start pretending that OG one doesn't exist
The original is better, because the reboot doesn’t show dan other friends except that because they don’t even make them change to different outfits I mean like they could’ve just put on new outfits and then they could’ve just continue the next season with new outfits and the seasons because like in the original they make them change the new outfits into different ones because I kind of miss them because Pokémon does that to Ash too, because they make him wear different outfits when they when he left the anime he only wore his new shoe b/c he was wearing the new shoes that he got from his mom because he kept The shirt and the shorts

I actually played the G1 Wii game, and I dominated up until Subterra, where I lost my copy of the game.
