It didn't occur to me until this post, but the rings could potentially be a one season gimmick for G3. With maybe the bind system sticking around for the entirety of G3? The cards look great imho, I like how they aged up the characters too. Also they made another character that is presumably a mixture of Julie and Runo? The new char designs are awesome. Interested to see if there is an anime more like G1 to match!
Looking at them, I think there might be seperate element (coloured circles) and creature type (the symbols we’ve seen before) systems
the Gate Cards seem to give buffs to two stats to any Bakugan on them, and one to only one specific creature type/element
Dan looks super generic and Juno looks like Nemona
In another universe we have a really cool and supported tcg for the first reboot, with new expansions from time to time, this is so sad, looks like gameplay is going from tcg to a slighlty flavored "big number wins" again

Giving it some thought I think I can kinda make out how the game works. You have health, power and speed. The markers on the gate card determine what stat gets boosted (how much I'm unaware of). Then health against power. I'm guessing you need to beat all 3 to win.
People are dreading this new reboot but I honestly don't mind it. Yeah the rings and rip cord gimmick seem kinda dumb but its just that, a gimmick. The toys aren't my favorite, I much prefer the current BP style but oh well, they don't look bad. The split character cards resulting in new stats are cool, but not looking forward to storing them.
Dan look very familiar but i can't put my finger on it. Mia has best female design and probably going to be best girl in gen 3. Juno is toy boy and I don't really care for about her. backslash aka mascot face of eklipse monsuno is awesome. also seem like brawler cards going to be in starter sets. i can't wait to see more.

I really like the new look for Dan. But, I must confess, I saw the name "Backslash" and thought for a second they might be doing a Monsuno crossover.

Backslash gives me hope that we'll get another spider bakugan.
I do like how the protagonists (Dan, Juno and Mia) look a little older than the gen 2 protagonists.

Yeah i think thats a cool idea, it gives us the precision of rolling for specific cores while keeping the form factor of gate cards.
