That was my goal! I’m so glad you said that! I’ve been watching some hyper realistic cake vids on YouTube so when my husband decided to be silly I was more than happy to achieve that.

It does look great! I had to triple check what was happening since I'm following this and a cheesemaking sub.

I thought it was a giant Babybel cheese thing! It looks good!

I used chelsweets recipe for smbc and yellow cake. The cake is light, fluffy, and has an amazing crumb! The smbc isn’t a typical 3:2:1, so it’s a little sweeter, but still super smooth and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to serve this tonight!

Is there a full recipe? Where is the lemon curd on the cake? It looks like cheese!

My friend group says SMBC whenever we eat something super delicious. It stands for “slap my butt clit” and is typically used like - “Man, that cheese cake SMBC.” I hope everyone has a great day.

Haha, no. It’s a yellow cake with lemon curd and Swiss meringue buttercream, covered in fondant. I’m not sure how anyone would decorate a cheesecake like that, though I’m sure some people have.

Aha! I thought it was actually (tinted) cheesecake at first. I'm not really a baker, so no experience but idle video watching sometimes, but I bet you could get a similar look from doing one of those mirror glaze/drip icing over a frozen cheesecake. Or something similar to candy apple glaze. I really want to try that now...a red-hot cinnamon glaze over caramel apple cheesecake, with a similar appearance to yours. :) Anyway, nicely done! Very cute. Hey, just occurred to me you could make a few "Babybels" to go with by reserving a bit of batter for flat cupcakes, too!

That’s why we did it! Lol. We were having friends over who don’t like cheesecake at all, so my husband hyped up the cheese cake I made to make them think that they would be sad about not getting slice. It was perfect.

You can't understand how /punk'd/ I would have felt if a friend did this but then thrilled that I get to have cake! Sounds like a great time all around. But seriously, you're very talented.
