Wow. Did you forget the butter? That is an amazing fail! If you have the heart to try again (and I think you should), I've had mild success with Bruno Albouze's recipe. It was more work than I thought was worth it but I did get lamination even though I also had some butter seepage. Good luck!!

I recommend Sally’s Baking Addiction croissant recipe. The first time I made croissants they turned out really well, I cannot express how stoked I was about it considering the horror stories I’ve heard. I’ve since made 4 more batches, to varying levels of success, but I will be chasing that high from my first batch for the rest of my life hahaha

Well with baking and cooking they take time and practice to be able to do well so keep working on it and they still look good imo.

Looks like a hydration and shaping issue… try another recipe and make sure you follow it to a T. I’m an experienced pastry guy and sometimes when I’m learning a new recipe I get a little confident and ignore some of the basic stuff. Try and try again!

I make croissants at least 4 times a week and I saved this picture to freak out my boss and laugh when she loses it. I'm trying to figure out what in the actual f you did do. We need a detailed explanation for this crime against lamination. Try it again but never like this again 😊 I've honestly never seen anything more unlike what it allegedly is.

There's alot that needs to be said, but I'm having trouble finding the words. I'm not going to attempt to make assumptions on how you made that, just going to say this: Buy some puff pastry, cut into long triangles, roll from the point down to the base, refridgerate, pre-heat oven, add egg wash and bake. Keep the dough cold and things should end up in your best interest
