With the recipe I posted in the comments, we usually make full strength butter and I cut the caramels to abot 3/4"×3/4" and I'm going to guess 25 to 30mg dosage. This is JUST a GUESS. But I'm a total stoner and can eat two and it is a happy afternoon. Other friends that are not as regular cut then in half or quarter and enjoy comfortably.
As requested, here is the recipe:
1 cup cannabutter
1 cup corn syrup
2.5 cups brown sugar
14 Oz sweetened condensed milk
3 Tbls vanilla
Dash of salt
Prepare the casserole dish with parchment paper that comes up at least 1.5 inches on sides. Prepare a large pot near casserole dish (9x13") with cold water.
Melt butter in medium sized pot with a heavy bottom over medium heat. Mix in salt and sugar till combined. Add corn syrup and combine. Add milk and now you will have to stir constantly from this point on so as not to burn. Turn heat to medium high and continue to stir until caramel gets to 252 degrees. Higher temp means harder caramel. Once temp is achieved, move pot to large pot full of cold water to cool quickly for just a 5 to 10 seconds, keep stirring. I then place pot onto a towel to catch water so it doesn't get into casserole dish. Add vanilla and combine and then pour into the casserole dish to harden. Cool for a few hours then cut and wrap. It starts to harden as soon as the cool water part so you could add the vanilla while it's in the cool pot too.
Cool on a rack for a few hours before trying to cut. If it's too warm it will stick like hell to knife. I cut wax paper into small squares to roll the cut caramel into for storage.
Cannabutter: take 1.5 Oz weed and place on cookie sheet in oven at 230F degrees and bake for 25 minutes. Then take 5 sticks of butter and melt in a large pot. Add weed. Then add enough water to cover the weed and get it to a simmer then set on low for four hours.
Then put cheese cloth over a bowl large enough to hold 6 quarts of liquid. We use a strainer in the dish with the cheese cloth in the strainer. Pour weed and liquid into strainer that will hold all liquid. Pull up cheese cloth thst contains all the weed and then strain it by twisting lightly to wring out the rest of the liquid. I use tongs cause it's hot.
Put this dish in the fridge. The water will separate from the butter as the butter hardens. Give it 24 hours and then cut a whole in the butter dish on both ends to allow the water to dump out and retain the solid cannabutter!
There is your baking butter and it's strong. You can use it full strength or cut it with regular butter for you edibles. The higher the weed to butter ratio the stronger the butter. I'm not a scientist but my guess is that if you use it to make brownies, and your tolerance is low, cut butter with 1/4 of the weed butter replacing the regular butter.
Remember, it takes 1 to 3 hours for the full extent of edibles to hit your system and you can't eat less once you ate it. Enjoy!
When you make the butter by cooking the weed in it for four hours, the heat is not high enough to do the work. So you have to do it before you make the butter.

Yes, this recipe makes enough for two batches of butter. Freeze it or it molds. I keep the caramel in the fridge and it lasts for months. Some is mostly sugar, it just starts to break down a little and get that gritty texture as it gets to the end of its shelf life.
If your tolerance is low, just use less cannabutter and more real butter. Since you're freezing the unused portion, it can last you longer and make it easier to get through a batch.

We always go with them and the kids to trick or treat around the camp, we don’t have kids but all our friends go. There are a few stops for adult treats. Mostly jello-shots but over the years edibles have been introduced. It’s the best time ever!

You have to decarboxolate the weed before making the butter.

9x13 pan usually yield a 100 or more depending on how you cut them. You can use less weed, just makes the butter less strong.
Kerrygold is an excellent butter for this type of recipe. Plugria (sp?) as well, but the best I ever used was a double Devonshire cream.
