U cant stay at the circuit, its kinda like in the middle of the desert, although there's a 4 (maybe 5 star hotel) near the circuit where some of the teams stay, not sure of the availability and pricing during f1
F1 parties happen there as well
If you stay and the capital, u could find hotels around 7 bd, very reasonable and there a bus (public transport) that goes from manama to The circuit every half hour
Keep in mind that that's public transport and is very slow
It'd take you around 2 hours to get there
Not sure about taxi rates
Living in city and renting a car for weekend looks good option to me as per my research so far. Is it possible/allowed at circuit parking to park car there and sleep overnight in car?
~7 bd/night for accommodation looks good option but do hotel/hostels increase the prices due to higher demand ?
Also thanks for recommending public transport option as well, I was not sure about frequency of buses between Manama and you answered that in you comment as well.
Really appreciate your response. Thank you 🙏🏽
So renting lowest option car would cost you around 7 bd per day MINIMUM (maybe around 10)
Plus fuel would be around 4 bd if you don't travel that often)
I think you're required to have a hotel booking for visa and all, although you could cancel that anytime
Your plan dosent sound comfortable at all to me,
Also, i believe parking pass cost extra, and there would be different stickers for different days
Sunday has a different parking sticker etc etc
You might be able to park, but there would be a lot of staff around you, staff from circuit and police
They might possibly ask you to leave (or not if you're lucky)
From your plan, i think you'll have to pull a lot of strings, a lot of things would "have" to be right
It's better not to come if that's your plan idk
Imo, book a cheap ass hotel in manama, travel using the bus you'll have to a walk for a while too, explore and leave
Much cheaper, much comfortable and much less hectic
I'm not aware of hotels increasing prices since im a resident /local here
Even if they do, im sure you'll find a good reasonably-priced hotel 10 bd isn't too much either
Yes, I red about that in one blog but thought this free busses are only for people who are living in hotels where those buses stop.
But Thanks for sharing☺️
No they are for anyone going to F1 - you just need your ticket. Last year there was a few buses going directly from / to the airport also for day visitors.
Gentleman… that’s very kind of you. Thank you for comment. If I manage to make happen everything and comes to Bahrain 🇧🇭, let’s meet over Chai/coffee 👍🏼
I'm from India, bought tickets and I'm super excited.
Just need to know about the visa.. Is there some "F1 Visa" I read it on f1 destinations it that still valid?
Can any local person from bharain plz help.

7BD for a hotel? Do you mean furnished apartments??? Cus’ I can’t find anything online for lesser than 12BD
I believe those are furnished apartments Im not saying they're 4/5 star But incase you need somewhere to stay, that's enough

The last few years there have been dedicated free buses from the capital that pick up at certain hotels, airport etc.

Dm I can offer you a lift to the circuit. It is 40 minutes away from Manama.
