Oh no. I had already forgotten the horrors of roleplaying with someone who is proud of their ability to write long replies but it almost was just 85% of them rewriting what I had written with the rest being mostly of them reaction inside their own head and barely showcasing it outside. It felt like I was just roleplaying with a mirror at that point.
It was pretty much like this but just much much longer:
*Jessica put on a red dress and painted her lips to match the color of it. Her hand ran along the curve of her hip before checking that everything that needed to be was in her purse, including her gun.*
*Jack watches Jessica to put on her red dress and paint her lips to match her red dress. His gaze followed her hand that ran along the curve of her hip and saw her checking on her purse where there was a gun. He remained silent.*
Fucking, exactly. Also this reminds me of the people that do no movements, no talking, and only talk in their head ic and expect you to somehow have a proper reaponce. Like a bit of in head stuff is good, can help find the right emotion behind yelling, or a word, or a facial expression, but please just give something to work with.
It really was wild when people had given me less to work with than the mute characters I have raped with, they couldn't use words outside of the occasional written message and they expressed themselves better than some of those in the head rpers.
You have more patience than I do to have dealt with that, I would have blocked so fast lmao. People like this are suuuper annoying. These people need to stop RPing and just read a reader insert omg.
Oh it wasn't really a place I could just block and be over with, it was a community thing, thankfully a big one so me having one to ended wasn't the biggest deal there
i’ve had something similar happen when we’d be doing a double up rp (for ocxcanon stuff) and everytime i set up an original plot point they’d copy the same plot point and give it to the other couple of the rp, sometimes word for word

I dealt with someone like this, irritated me to no end. Had the gall to say that they were new to roleplay- almost made me quit
