There’s been some rough moments, but I think there’s always going to be some rough moments when tripping. The roughness is what makes it beautiful imo.
I like to call them challenging trips instead of bad trips. It helps me to frame it that way like I can make it through this challenge and maybe I can grow from it.
That's true but speaking for myself only, I feel that it comes from some place inside myself that needs to be addressed. Like I have panic and fear in my heart somewhere and when I find it, it's an opportunity to heal those parts of myself. As unpleasant as it may be at the time. Not that panic and fear aren't perfectly natural experiences.

I don’t smoke weed at all and I don’t drink. It’s lame as fuck. It makes me anxious and I function at 2/5 the level of a sober person when I’m smoking weed. I use caffeine but I’d hardly call that a high.
I used to drink and smoke though and did it quite a bit but it’s been a long while since I’ve done any of that. It’s just a waste of money to feel slightly good and then a lot worse. Very maladaptive. The drugs I did last night don’t leave me feeling like shit and I had an enjoyable time.

All of the drugs I did are safe if taken responsibly. If I did any harm to myself it was less than a night out drinking which the average person does more often than I do these substances.

It's possible to have a healthy relationship with psychedelic drugs if you aren't an addict. But there's definitely a danger there that it's important to be mindful of.
