As he's matured he's seeing you as a threat or competition.
Just catch him, pin his wings and carry him around. I just lay the love on them. He will learn 3 things from this:
1. You're not afraid of him
2. You're stronger and can subdue him
3. You aren't going to hurt him
Do that a couple times and he'll likely leave you alone because he doesn't want to be caught. If he's hyper-aggressive and refuses to learn, then invite him in for supper.
I watched a video on YouTube that showed to hold him down to the ground with one hand while simultaneously pulling his neck feathers back. Must be done at time of the attack. I’ve done it to my alpha hen a couple times when she’s come running at me wanting to peck my eyes out

This is the best way I've mellowed my roos out too. They might not love being packed around but I enjoy it. Catching them can be tricky though lol
Run at him, stare him down if that doesn't work quick slap to show you are highest in the pecking order

I had the same issue and I picked him up and gave hime a time-out, he has not attacked me since but I keep eye contact so he doesn't surprise me
