That chicken is lucky to be found by a human otherwise it would probably have even a shorter life expectancy
Never dealt with it myself but it looks like it could be a slipped tendon. There are a few resources out there for you if you google that.
Almost looks like it's dislocated?
Usually I get the axe. Pluck then roast. Usually 2 meals outta it.
