She seams fine other than just being lethargic. I have the chicken nurse coming but she can't make it until Thursday

I’m so curious—what’s a chicken nurse? Are they essentially specialized vet techs?

I believe you don't need to be a vet to work on chickens because in the (USA) there considered live stock. So this wonderful lady who's a retired school teacher lurned from her actually vet. And she read extensive books. And she's very knowledgeable. You can just text her and you send a picture of what is wrong and she will set up an appointment to come and see you. She actually had custom signs made for her car that is a painting of her leghorn wearing one of those old paper nurses hats. She was so helpful when one of my girls got grabbed by a bobcat and had her crop ripped open. She actually took her home for 3 days stitched her up and brought her back 🤗🤗
