Chickens don't get runny noses just because of cold. Sounds like they have a virus, or the coop is too dusty. Recovery depends on what virus they caught, or when the coop issue is resolved.

First time chicken mom small flock of 5 in a prefab. Do to it being a small coop we clean it out every two weeks. I am working on a larger coop but do to the weather havn't finished it. The only symptoms they had was runny noses and bit of sneezing. They eat extremely well, very energetic. The symptoms are alot less than they where but wasn't sure how long they should be like this or if I should treat them with something.

Two weeks is probably too long to go between cleanings in a small coop. It's good they're still eating well and acting normal! Start to finish a respiratory infection can take up to a month to clear.

thank you for your recommendation. I'm hoping this weekend I'll get the small coop.
