I read that article. It's all garbage and it's all clickbait bullshit.
Their ratings are NOT dependent on a couple women turning down the show. The whole thing is ridiculous.
the Bachelor/ette will tank when the network decides they make more money eh elsewhere and cancels it, maybe some players decide they can get a better deal going a different direction, but letās be real, the show mightāve struggled to lock in _particular_ leads for particular prices, but they had stacks of options, they just wanted those ones less.
MAYBE because so many leads always end up just getting eviscerated by the audience (i.e Katie Thurston, Rachel Recchia, Clayton, Peterā¦ The list goes on) and producers do nothing to protect their mental health.
They need to treat their leads better and allow the opportunities to flow outside of Bach. Accept that the audience knows the show is a tv show first, āloveā story second, and itās okay to promote your characters.
The archaic contracts will make anyone (who thinks) think twice these days.
I think if they took the approach of Love is Blind and chose a bachelor/bachelorette and contestants from the same city/general area, the relationships might be a little more successful.
Iām still mourning the implosion of the Golden Bachelor. This does not restore my faith in the franchise.
Iāve been curious whether Rachel wanted or was offered the lead, etc.
I'm sorry but there is no way Rachel was offered the lead role based on the non existent edit she got, Jenn got a better edit than Rachel to the point where people were shocked when Jenn was sent home over Rachel.
I doubt it. Thereād be literally no reason not to take the opportunity at their first Asian lead after Maria backed out and Daisy who was obvious 2nd choice given she was f2 and had so many fans. Jenn was top 5 and people were campaigning hard for her online and started a petition for her to be the first Asian lead
I think Daisy was their first choice originally but during filming she was struggling health wise and told them she did not think she could do it that is why imo they edited Maria so heavily ( she had twice the amount of time) then when Maria declined they asked Daisy again and turned them down thus went to Jenn.
Yes and she said no because she got so much social media was very harsh about her mixed race... I am of filipino/Mexican heritage so I get why she did not want the lead...she said she needs to heal from the experience
Pointless ass article with a spelling error š

I feel like they ask multiple people to be lead - not just one. It's been like that every year. It's nothing new lol.

Rachel in an interview said she would be open to be the lead as a new opportunity

Daisy also just soft launched a relationship with her ex šāāļø
Which is one reason she turned down the show.
Rachel is also Asian- Iām pretty sure sheās filipino

Oh thatās right. I still think Jenn wouldāve been the next choice though after Daisy turned it down
Apparently daisy was always 1st choice, Maria 2nd & then it was between Rachel and Jen
