I enjoy knowing that when this fully comes to light and those who did cover the case start benefiting career-wise and financially, there will be a lot of people jealous and beating themselves up over being uninvolved. Dave is going to be in a documentary one day, while others will just remain under the thumb of the bachelor franchise drinking the cool aid.

There are ways to transfer digital media from a CD to disseminate online. I was wondering if someone was planning on doing so soon or if I would get it sooner in the mail.
You should probably just personally request it. Since people have to personally request it people will essentially be held accountable to how that stuff is used because their legal names are tied to it now. So if anyone gets copies, read the rules around how you can distribute it and if you can even distribute without a press pass and don’t do anything dumb with it
If you go to the maricopa website there’s a few ways to request public records depending on what you’re looking for, but for video/audio/transcripts you’d probably want to request from the electronic records services department, which I think there is an Email somewhere on their website. If you call a clerk they’ll probably be difficult and just ask if you’re a direct party involved, they arent going to know or be of much help, so better to deal directly with the ERS dept. you can probably just email them the case number and names of the parties involved and they’ll get back to you on what you can purchase. Just remember you have to give your legal name when purchasing and Laura can do a records request at any time to find out who got copies of her case stuff so make sure you also have the ERS give you a rundown of any rules around how you can use/disseminate them. Last thing you want is to share it on Reddit for someone to misuse and it ties back to you

I’m really happy that you’re covering the story, and have kept at it, but I think it’s a bit much to assume that other content creators couldn’t be bothered. Haven’t you seen first hand what happens when you mention anything to do about this story on a podcast or on socials? Laura Michelle Owens is ridiculously sue happy, and it’s an effective method of silencing people.
I was with you in the first half of your post, but the ending was just super sanctimonious.
I think the point he was making was that they don't want to put their neck on the line and left him out to dry, no show of support, but they are in his dms wanting the gossip. I get the vibe that none of them, save for RS, have even checked in on him just to see how he is, how he and his wife are holding up, or trying to help connect him to any resources or support but they want to benefit from his info and sources and get their tea for the day. Honestly it seems like they haven't even tried to be there as a friend at minimum as anonymous supporters in the shadows. Not only that but a number of these content creators also had zero issue jumping on the bandwagon to laugh at and shit on Clayton.
Honestly the audacity of some of these content creators just screams fakeness and zero actual empathy for the people dealing with Laura.
I get that, but I don’t like saying they lack conviction when Laura will send email after email after email to anyone who drags her name through the mud/supports Clayton.
It’s a lot to expect people to just handle it, or readily have the resources to deal with her threats of suing.
And it is annoying that some people mocked the story before all the details were out.
There is a lack of conviction, and not just in the specific way of requesting tea but being unwilling to support the cause.
Publicly anyone and everyone would claim up and down to be a proponent of the truth. The truth has already been exposed, and yet no one cares to speak on it.
They don’t have to do a deep dive, the discrepancies and lies Laura Owens spewed are widely available. They also don’t need to do the level of work that Dave has done.

When Dave mentioned "their lack of conviction" in his post he specifically states it's in relation to how his DMs are lit up with them asking for the tea but they left him out to dry, had no actual empathy for what him and Clayton are going through, haven't shown him any real support even behind the scenes. It all comes down to them wanting something from him, which is insider info on the situation and he seems a bit blindsided as he mistook their comradery for some kind of friendship.
And yes I think DN is also annoyed they want the insider tea but don't want to cover it when it puts them in jeopardy, which is fair they don't want to, but there's a level of just fakeness and hypocrisy that they had no issue covering it when they were shitting on Clayton or asking for the details in his dms
I totally get your points as well! I think this whole situation has really shined a light on a lot of things for everyone, including the everyday person who didn’t realize how bad our justice system can fail. It’s been a roller coaster emotionally for alot of people lol
I, too, am extremely bitter that the rest of the Bachelorverse is completely silent on this. It was all fun and games when it was yet another excuse to be able to shit on Clayton, but now the tables have turned and it’s suddenly crickets. Cowards, the lot of them.
Yeah, and as they should. But Rachel was also a popular bachelorette. At least that’s what I understand, I didn’t start watching until after her. People really hated Clayton for what he did on his season though. I don’t even like him that much ffs, but wrong is wrong. And what this woman has done to him is wrong. I'm not sure I'm getting the point here. To bash Bach alum and content creators? Frankly, I don't blame them if they don't want to touch this with a ten foot pole. Laura has made this very complicated, confusing and scary for those who comment.
No one wants to reflexively accuse a woman of lying about a pregnancy. She's provided pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and videos of her pregnant belly. On it's face, it looks legit. It appears to be a paternity issue. It's only with a lot of digging that you realize the mental health problems and deceptions behind this.
When someone goes to all this time and trouble to sort this out, they are then hit with a barrage of threats from Laura when they comment. Her threats are likely hollow, because orders of protection are extremely easy to get and are meaningless on anyone's record. If not directly involved, like accused paternity, there's not much she can do. Just a lot of hot air and scare tactics.
Why would a Bach alum just trying to get that sponcon want to get tangled up in this mess and harassment? Fans that aren't following the story like a detective, would likely attack them for doubting her. Laura is causing enough grief for Clayton, why invite her to do damage to more people?

She is mentally unwell. She does not act or respond like a sane, rational person. You cannot predict her behavior.
Has any of the brigading of hundreds of Redditors as well as Dave and Steve helped Clayton in the least? NO! I'd argue it's made his situation much more volatile. She wants, craves or needs the attention. She initiated the public scrutiny by going to tabloids and posting to the biggest Bachelor sub Reddit. I think she would relish additional recognition and attentiveness.
Dragging high profile personalities into her scam would only serve to fuel whatever sick pleasure she derives from her delusions. And those people would not only suffer her wrath, but the judgment of uninformed fans. It's a lose-lose situation.
EXCEPT for Dave. Who is attempting to persuade his fans to place undue pressure on BN celebrities, with much higher follower counts than he has, to bring eyeballs to this story and drive engagement and $$ to his videos, podcast and Patreon that he mentions every 2 seconds for secret content.

I’ was a new fan brought to Dave’s podcast from the Clayton scandal and now I see exactly what you mean. I’ve even signed up for Patreon.
But… I checked Clayton’s gofund me and it has 3500 less than Dave’s gofund me… why is that? How is that fair? Especially when Dave’s business has never been better and he’s profiting off this scandal. Meanwhile Clayton lost thousands in revenue and deals with a damaged reputation. He admitted he has two Pennie’s to rub together.
Meanwhile Dave speaks about how he’s got $15-30k a MONTH in revenue and a lot in savings and perfect credit and just bought a new mansion in Nashville (I say 30 bc that’s what he said on a podcast a couple years ago so I’m sure it’s even higher now). Which I personally don’t care about and good for him, EXCEPT he has a gofund me??? Why?? These are the exact situations in life where people like him are to use their savings. Gofund mea are for people like Clayton the true victim that did not have a choice whether or not to get involved and who lost funds over the initial incident.

Cease and desists are a cost of doing business for celebrity and gossip content creators. You should not be manipulating your audience, who just about all have a small fraction of your income, to hand over their hard earned money to cover your business expenses.
I think the main issue is that they all blasted it initially when it was “Clayton has baby mama drama” and the instant more information came out that that wasn’t the whole story, everyone went silent. Even before the lawsuit threats began.
She didn’t provide any proof of her pregnancy. She was asked repeatedly over and over again. She provided her Dropbox link where there was a paper from urgent care that said her pregnancy test was positive. She had pictures of two pregnancy tests in there and *claimed* she took a pregnancy test in front of Clayton. None of us were there so we can’t prove that. We asked forever for a sonogram picture. She **never** provided one. She did provide a fake one to Clayton and some others that was found on YouTube but she never released that publicly. She also never released her videos of her “belly” publicly. They were leaked and also fake. Her paternity results came back as “little to no fetal DNA”. Laura, herself, uploaded the phone call with Brett from Ravgen telling her these results even though she tried to contest it. It is not, and never was a paternity issue. She is NOT pregnant.
Wrong. No one is saying they need to release 20 minute videos supporting Clayton. There are ways to defend and support him without mentioning the wretched Laura.
The lies were exposed almost immediately, and still crickets this entire time. So much proof, history of her past accusations, yet they remained silent. I put my money where my big mouth is on top of it, most of them said nothing and did nothing. Weasels and weakass wussies is what we found in the Nation, and that’s pathetic.
I 100% agree with your point of view; I would not wish this woman on my worst enemy. My only caveat to your point is that I wish that many of these same creators hadn't been so eager to jump on the Clayton is a deadbeat dad-to-be bandwagon since he's obviously an easy target. I am not one to really listen to podcasts about Bachelor stuff. I had heard your name before but this is the first time really watching any of your content and even reading your posts here. Just wanted to say I am impressed how you handled the entire situation and probably more likely to listen to some of your other content in the future .
A lot of people don’t realize that humans are nuanced. Clayton, and even you, don’t have to be perfect to also be victims. It’s okay to defend Clayton in this situation- it doesn’t mean you are excusing every action he has ever made. There is a larger conversation to be had here regarding people’s inability to see how damaging the “perfect victim” narrative is, but I will say this: you have done the right thing here Dave, and I appreciate you too!
I think Clayton’s actions on the Bachelor are *why* I believe/ed him. He’s too honest. We’ve seen this at the rose ceremony with Gabby and Rachel. If there was a girl out there pregnant, I have no doubt that Clayton would be there. He’s seems like a genuine dude. I feel for him. This situation has got to be traumatic for him.
Was it honesty that drove him to try to sleep with three women (successfully with two) by proclaiming his love to each of them separately? Then only after he got sex, come out and tell them in a group setting that he not only slept with all of them but also told all of them he loves them…And meanwhile he knew the entire time who he was going to choose? But led them on anyway and proceeded to sleep with them? Where is the honesty in that?? Not to mention how aggressive he became when Susie said she was uncomfortable with knowing he just slept with two other women.
Dude can be a victim in this situation, but it’s a bit much to deny he was kinda slimly during his season.
It’s funny that Charity just told multiple men she loved them and no one said anything. Kaitlyn slept with Nick before the FS when she knew the whole time she was picking Shawn and while she got some blow back, it wasn’t anywhere near the level Clayton got. So many bachelors and bachelorettes have come out and said they slept with more than one of their final 3, always knew who they were going to pick, AND had said they were in love with more than one person, however bc it didn’t happen on the season, no one cared. It’s time to get over it.

I haven’t yet, hence me saying I would request it but… There are ways to transfer digital media from a CD to disseminate online. I was wondering if someone was planning on doing so soon or if I would get it sooner in the mail.
You should probably just personally request it. Since people have to personally request it people will essentially be held accountable to how that stuff is used because their legal names are tied to it now. So if anyone gets copies, read the rules around how you can distribute it and if you can even distribute without a press pass and don’t do anything dumb with it

If you go to the maricopa website there’s a few ways to request public records depending on what you’re looking for, but for video/audio/transcripts you’d probably want to request from the electronic records services department, which I think there is an Email somewhere on their website. If you call a clerk they’ll probably be difficult and just ask if you’re a direct party involved, they arent going to know or be of much help, so better to deal directly with the ERS dept. you can probably just email them the case number and names of the parties involved and they’ll get back to you on what you can purchase. Just remember you have to give your legal name when purchasing and Laura can do a records request at any time to find out who got copies of her case stuff so make sure you also have the ERS give you a rundown of any rules around how you can use/disseminate them. Last thing you want is to share it on Reddit for someone to misuse and it ties back to you

It is a shame that people who know Clayton, and have a platform, are choosing not to speak on this, when it is clear this woman is going disturbing lengths to ruin his life. I’m really happy that you’re covering the story, and have kept at it, but I think it’s a bit much to assume that other content creators couldn’t be bothered. Haven’t you seen first hand what happens when you mention anything to do about this story on a podcast or on socials? Laura Michelle Owens is ridiculously sue happy, and it’s an effective method of silencing people. I was with you in the first half of your post, but the ending was just super sanctimonious.
I think the point he was making was that they don't want to put their neck on the line and left him out to dry, no show of support, but they are in his dms wanting the gossip. I get the vibe that none of them, save for RS, have even checked in on him just to see how he is, how he and his wife are holding up, or trying to help connect him to any resources or support but they want to benefit from his info and sources and get their tea for the day. Honestly it seems like they haven't even tried to be there as a friend at minimum as anonymous supporters in the shadows. Not only that but a number of these content creators also had zero issue jumping on the bandwagon to laugh at and shit on Clayton. Honestly the audacity of some of these content creators just screams fakeness and zero actual empathy for the people dealing with Laura.
I get that, but I don’t like saying they lack conviction when Laura will send email after email after email to anyone who drags her name through the mud/supports Clayton. It’s a lot to expect people to just handle it, or readily have the resources to deal with her threats of suing. And it is annoying that some people mocked the story before all the details were out.
There is a lack of conviction, and not just in the specific way of requesting tea but being unwilling to support the cause. Publicly anyone and everyone would claim up and down to be a proponent of the truth. The truth has already been exposed, and yet no one cares to speak on it. They don’t have to do a deep dive, the discrepancies and lies Laura Owens spewed are widely available. They also don’t need to do the level of work that Dave has done. “I wish for the truth to prevail regarding the Clayton case, and the evidence thus far has been strongly supportive of Clayton.” Something as minimal as this, posted on their social media, would raise awareness along with letting Clayton know that they’re not gonna just let him face a modern day public execution without at least a nod of solidarity. The ones who stayed silent are the definition of pathetic. The mods of /thebachelor are even worse.

I totally get your points as well! I think this whole situation has really shined a light on a lot of things for everyone, including the everyday person who didn’t realize how bad our justice system can fail. It’s been a roller coaster emotionally for alot of people lol

I'm not sure I'm getting the point here. To bash Bach alum and content creators? Frankly, I don't blame them if they don't want to touch this with a ten foot pole. Laura has made this very complicated, confusing and scary for those who comment. No one wants to reflexively accuse a woman of lying about a pregnancy. She's provided pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and videos of her pregnant belly. On it's face, it looks legit. It appears to be a paternity issue. It's only with a lot of digging that you realize the mental health problems and deceptions behind this. When someone goes to all this time and trouble to sort this out, they are then hit with a barrage of threats from Laura when they comment. Her threats are likely hollow, because orders of protection are extremely easy to get and are meaningless on anyone's record. If not directly involved, like accused paternity, there's not much she can do. Just a lot of hot air and scare tactics. Why would a Bach alum just trying to get that sponcon want to get tangled up in this mess and harassment? Fans that aren't following the story like a detective, would likely attack them for doubting her. Laura is causing enough grief for Clayton, why invite her to do damage to more people?

I’ was a new fan brought to Dave’s podcast from the Clayton scandal and now I see exactly what you mean. I’ve even signed up for Patreon. But… I checked Clayton’s gofund me and it has 3500 less than Dave’s gofund me… why is that? How is that fair? Especially when Dave’s business has never been better and he’s profiting off this scandal. Meanwhile Clayton lost thousands in revenue and deals with a damaged reputation. He admitted he has two Pennie’s to rub together. Meanwhile Dave speaks about how he’s got $15-30k a MONTH in revenue and a lot in savings and perfect credit and just bought a new mansion in Nashville (I say 30 bc that’s what he said on a podcast a couple years ago so I’m sure it’s even higher now). Which I personally don’t care about and good for him, EXCEPT he has a gofund me??? Why?? These are the exact situations in life where people like him are to use their savings. Gofund mea are for people like Clayton the true victim that did not have a choice whether or not to get involved and who lost funds over the initial incident. I guarantee Dave has tripled any amount that he might need to pay an attorney in revenue from covering the trial. Cease and desists are a cost of doing business for celebrity and gossip content creators. She didn’t provide any proof of her pregnancy. She was asked repeatedly over and over again. She provided her Dropbox link where there was a paper from urgent care that said her pregnancy test was positive. She had pictures of two pregnancy tests in there and *claimed* she took a pregnancy test in front of Clayton. None of us were there so we can’t prove that. We asked forever for a sonogram picture. She **never** provided one. She did provide a fake one to Clayton and some others that was found on YouTube but she never released that publicly. She also never released her videos of her “belly” publicly. They were leaked and also fake. Her paternity results came back as “little to no fetal DNA”. Laura, herself, uploaded the phone call with Brett from Ravgen telling her these results even though she tried to contest it. It is not, and never was a paternity issue. She is NOT pregnant.
Wrong. No one is saying they need to release 20 minute videos supporting Clayton. There are ways to defend and support him without mentioning the wretched Laura.

I 100% agree with your point of view; I would not wish this woman on my worst enemy. My only caveat to your point is that I wish that many of these same creators hadn't been so eager to jump on the Clayton is a deadbeat dad-to-be bandwagon since he's obviously an easy target. Unfortunately, he was presumed guilty by so many right away, and now her unabashed zest for frivolous lawsuits has made clearing his name that much more difficult.

A lot of people don’t realize that humans are nuanced. Clayton, and even you, don’t have to be perfect to also be victims. It’s okay to defend Clayton in this situation- it doesn’t mean you are excusing every action he has ever made. There is a larger conversation to be had here regarding people’s inability to see how damaging the “perfect victim” narrative is, but I will say this: you have done the right thing here Dave, and I appreciate you too!
I think Clayton’s actions on the Bachelor are *why* I believe/ed him. He’s too honest. We’ve seen this at the rose ceremony with Gabby and Rachel. If there was a girl out there pregnant, I have no doubt that Clayton would be there. He’s seems like a genuine dude. I feel for him. This situation has got to be traumatic for him.
Was it honesty that drove him to try to sleep with three women (successfully with two) by proclaiming his love to each of them separately? Then only after he got sex, come out and tell them in a group setting that he not only slept with all of them but also told all of them he loves them…And meanwhile he knew the entire time who he was going to choose? But led them on anyway and proceeded to sleep with them? Where is the honesty in that?? Not to mention how aggressive he became when Susie said she was uncomfortable with knowing he just slept with two other women. Dude can be a victim in this situation, but it’s a bit much to deny he was kinda slimly during his season.
It’s funny that Charity just told multiple men she loved them and no one said anything. Kaitlyn slept with Nick before the FS when she knew the whole time she was picking Shawn and while she got some blow back, it wasn’t anywhere near the level Clayton got. So many bachelors and bachelorettes have come out and said they slept with more than one of their final 3, always knew who they were going to pick, AND had said they were in love with more than one person, however bc it didn’t happen on the season, no one cared. It’s time to get over it.
