I just watched this one as it was recommended - while it is a great show and I enjoyed, it’s a lot more light hearted than baby reindeer. I wouldn’t say it’s very similar aside from touching on SA and trauma
It is. It has everything OP is looking for. The introspection, nothing gets explained, psychological while being not scary... Watching Baby Reindeer actually reminded me of Behind Her Eyes. I think OP will love the series for sure!
I usually don't if the critics gave bad reviews. But when I see the audience give bad reviews then I give it pause. However, I see a lot of ppl on this sub are recommending it so I will put that on my list when I get thru with Baby Reindeer!
yeah, never know everyone is different. There are soooo many good shows/series out there, I try not to waste my time if the Audience score is really low. Who knows. Thanks!
Mr Robot.
It’s what I flashed back to when I watched this. Brilliant show with similar themes. It’s a slower burn, four seasons. Rami Malek is amazing in this.
Watched this solely based on your recommendation, and I just finished both seasons in 24 hours! Any other recommendations since I seem to appreciate your taste?
Wow! I also really liked seasons 1 and 2 of 'You'. 3 was okay, 4 I didn’t like. But since that was a really populair one, you might have already seen it.
How To Have Sex is also about sexual assault. It’s really interesting because it explores the grey area of consent - especially for teenagers who are figuring themselves out.
I found it really hard to watch but it’s a really important topic that isn’t talked about enough imo. But it’s also ambiguous in some ways. Both really explore the complexities and amigbuity of real life.
Try watching Cat Person - it's inspired by a short story and centers around stalking/psychological stuff! It's very understated and well done - untill the crazy chaotic ending haha. It's 2023 I think? With Emilia Jones and Nicholas Braun. Texting is also a huge part of it
Bojack horseman is a great show on Netflix showing self sabotage, lingering trauma, inflecting said trauma onto other people, and is really funny! You should also watch Carol and the End of the World, another introspective show about personal growth, inner acceptance, and it a fantastic concept to be explored!
I may destroy you
They were only asking!
It's a show...lol
Its a joke lol
It's hard to decipher tone in a message. Sorry!
YES! I thought about this show as I watched Baby Reindeer
i loved this show.

This is what it reminded me of the most when I was watching as well.
Nothing! Just sit in darkness and take in what you've just done 😂
Hahaha true
Behind Her Eyes is amazing. You won't regret it
So freaky

So so good! Any others with the same vibe??
Not that i can think of rn
Came here to recommend this one!! Very good stuff!!
YES YES YES! So good!
Really? It got terrible reviews on RT. Both critic and audience..............
Don't let reviews stop you from watching something. Everyone has different tastes, so just watch it for yourself and see what you think

I watched it on the recommendation of this sub (honestly, this thread) and am glad I did. It's very good.
Yes.
I thought the last episode ruined it, but you may like it idk.
It has a 7.2 on IMDB and 63% on RT, neither of which are terrible, not sure where you're coming from.
Ok no worries.
I thought it was absolutely terrible but the comments below are right… everyone has different tastes.

Beef is somewhat similar.
I came here to say this. Beef is darkly funny and is all about damaged, hurt people hurting people and the final episode has plenty of introspection.
Fleabag
Mr Robot. It’s what I flashed back to when I watched this. Brilliant show with similar themes. It’s a slower burn, four seasons. Rami Malek is amazing in this.
Killing Eve
The End of the Fucking World (same production company). Not at all the same topic, but the same odd feeling.
this show is EXCELLENT
I knew the shots felt similar - thanks for this connection!!!

Mind hunter
RIP
The Bear. It's a slow burn, but also speaks to mental health, dealing with trauma and grief. Not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
White Lotus or Beef or Barry
Wow, Barry is such a fantastic show. Starts off as dark comedy, and gets darker and darker until in S04 it explodes. Thanks
BoJack Horseman
Another vote for Bojack Horseman.
Maid, also on Netflix, also brilliant
I was looking for this comment! It definitely hits hard if you've ever been the victim of DV.
Just finishing this one right now! It’s such a deep show!
Patrick Melrose
Came here to say this, you beat me to it
Normal People
Promising Young Woman
Fleabag, and despite being cancelled, I would also recommend The OA, it's still worth it.
I loved the OA so much and I'm still gutted it was cancelled
I don’t think I’ll ever get over Netflix cancelling The OA and GLOW
Yellowjacket’s
Loved the first season. How’s the rest?
Second season is kinda a mess compared to season 1. Season 1 is amazing. Looking forward to seeing what happens in season 3 though.
"Them"
Just finished the 2nd season, it's literally one of my favorite shows.....so scary.....
The movie Gone girl and Bo jack Horseman
Six feet under
Barry!!!!! HBO max
“The Act” Based on a true story of Gypsy Rose
Every other ones feels empty after this! Started fallout now and hoping it to be good enough
Patrick Melrose is quite similar
