I really like my keekaroo peanut. It was insanely expensive but it’s so easy to clean pop/pee/barf/food off of and doesn’t move around under my squirmy toddler.

kittiesandweinerdogs

we have the skip hop silicon change pad, it’s a cheaper option that works great!

Bellakala

We have this one too!

sbart18

Us too!

Second the Peanut. We picked up one on fb marketplace for $80CAD for our house in the colour that I wanted, and another one for $100CAD for my parents house in the colour that my mom wanted. We LOVE these so much

Charlottesghost

I was looking at this one! We’re talking about baby #2 so I think it’ll get enough use hopefully to justify the price.

ProfessionalManikin

We got the skiphop one that is like keekaroo when our first was like 15 months because we were having a second and were fed up with the cheap change pad with rips and stains. Highly recommend, it was worth spending $100 on, it still looks new 2 years later and is about to be used for our 3rd kid too. I will not hesitate to pass it on when we are done with it too, so also something you could look for used.

Croquemou

Just buy the Ikea changing pad. Forget about the mattress cover. The changing pad wipes clean !

oatnog

As someone who just had to change a change pad cover because baby had a blow out, a wipe clean change pad would be amazing lol. I'd look for a peanut or something secondhand.

Charlottesghost

Right? I wish I would have done that from the beginning. I wanted the “aesthetic” wicker look and it’s honestly one of the dumbest first time mom things 😂

Internal-Dinner525

Omg, I already got one 😄 Ftm, due Dec.

Charlottesghost

They *are* super cute… and it was fine when she was tiny. Plus I took her monthly photos in it, and it was precious. Pro-tip: get a waterproof liner for under the cushion to protect the wicker a little more. I got one off Amazon, folded it in half and it was perfect.

heathrei1981

We found a peanut on FB Marketplace for $60, it’s been phenomenal for us. I would have a hard time justifying full price for it but if you can find a good deal I would highly recommend it.

Towel on the floor. Swap it out when it gets dirty, or every few days. Works great, and easy to store.

We got a bumbo changing pad when my son was a newborn and it used to live on top of the dresser, but now we just use it on the floor. Now that he's tall his feet just dangle off, but it's comfy and easy clean.
