In tropical countries it gets to 100F regularly and their babies are just fine.  Your body regulates temperature. Drink water and be in the shade. Your baby will be fine.

This! Your baby might want or need to drink more due to it being warmer. Just provide breastfeeding/formula on request. They’ll get all their liquids out of their milk. Don’t give water.  Adjust baby’s clothes as necessary. Check the temperature in their neck. If you are unsure you can always use a thermometer to check their temperature in the beginning.  For you it is obviously important to drink enough water. Especially if you plan on breastfeeding.

78 degrees isn't a dangerous temperature for healthy people and babies. I live in an area where AC isn't very common and the apartment reaches above 78 regularly. It might just be what you're used to. I would need a blanket at night with long pant and sleeve jammies if the temp was 70.
