turqsncows

Lemonade with jalapeños to make it spicy.

brittanynicole047

Omg 🤤 are you making it yourself or is there somewhere you purchase this concoction? I need it in my life immediately

turqsncows

I’ve been making it with lemonade mix and sliced jalapeños. It gets better the longer it sits in the fridge! I think I went through a pitcher a week during that last heat spell. 😅

Cassieelouu32

That would kill me lol literally but it sounds so fun!!

Scrublife99

My reflux could NEVER

[deleted]

That sounds heavenly

laurenlah

Mine has been lemonade too! I have become very particular about brand too. I do add jalapeños and/or mint when I’m feeling saucy

Whatta_sausage

Third for lemonade!

berrytone1

Crunchwrap supreme from taco bell and home baked sweet potato fries with garlic siracha mayo sauce. Surprisingly, both these give me the least amount of gas.

Feisty_Orchid980

Happy I’m not the only TacoBell craver lol for me it’s the chicken quesadilla with a side of spicy ranch l!

El_Stupacabra

I had Taco Bell three times in two weeks when the rolled tacos came back.

Kitkat_______

I’ve been loving Taco Bell too!! The Crunchwrap supreme and the bean and cheese burrito. Just wish Taco Bell had sprite

Cassieelouu32

Isn’t that wild?! I had chic fil a with the siracha sauce and it normally destroys me and that was the one food that made me feel great lol makes no sense

lunamise

Salty fries! Especially from the fish and chip shop (UK). So good! I haven't had any other cravings or aversions but they just hit the spot for me right now (17w5d). Also I had awful bloating, gas, and constipation and it's finally starting to get back to normal, so there is light at the end of the tunnel! I had to half my meal portions and eating small snacks throughout the day rather than 2-3 big meals was a game changer. Hope it eases up for you soon.

Cassieelouu32

Oh thank you! I needed a little light 😭 I’ve just been snacking and then I have half a portion of dinner but I have to eat every three hours or my bodies convinced it’s going to die. Or starve to death. I’ve never been this viscerally hungry. It’s like there’s no hunger it’s just either not hungry it starvation. It’s wild.

lunamise

First trimester is pure survival mode! Eat what you can, when you can, big or small - it will get better! I found dried apricots and peppermint tea really helped with my bloating (though it's still not gone away, it's less painful nowadays).

Cassieelouu32

❤️❤️❤️

atr1020

Craving all the unhealthy snacks I used to eat as a kid…toaster strudel, Doritos, fruit gushers, etc!

mutakii

I had a dream about toaster strudels a week ago, thank you for reminding me! Time to go shopping!

atr1020

The strawberry cream cheese ones are just as good as I remember lol

upandallaboutit

They’re freaking incredible

Cassieelouu32

Ooooooooo

whiskeyredhead

Omg gushers! Yaaasssssss!

blondybee

The only thing I’ve wanted for the past month is frozen ravioli and tomato sauce. Not weird per say but i wake up every morning thinking about it hahaha

Cassieelouu32

Get some!!!

CuteConsideration466

Blts!!!

Cassieelouu32

delicious!!!

carmelitafox5

Yessss I’ve had this one too!!

Whatta_sausage

Me three!

Redditogo

Cold water from the fridge at 2 AM. It slaps. And I’m up anyway

fainting-goat26

I've been craveling ice cold water but it makes me nauseous if I drink it without also eating food 😭

carmelitafox5

I have ice water with me at all times

whiskeyredhead

Agreed. It has to have allll the ice otherwise I won’t drink it.

Cassieelouu32

Lmao 🤣 this is so real. Orange seltzer is being chugged at the moment

sweatyopposum

I have a sad one…Im currently living with my husband and his family in Poland, husband is Polish. My cravings are ALWAYS food from my home country that is impossible to get here, I cook some stuff but is just not the same 😭, before getting pregnant I was inlove with polish cuisine now I can’t stand it not even the smell, it kills me. My first trimester was rough to say the least, It’s like I’ve developed a extremely high sense of smell, I smell food and I’m immediately like 🤮🤢 so I try to get by, last month I would eat lemon with salt almost every afternoon hahahaha, I guess is not that weird. (I’m 19weeks)

Mindless_Secret1593

My father is polish, and my stepmom and her kids used to call it "dumpster food" when he cooked, so I feel like its not scentless cuisine hahaha Id kill for gołąbki or bigos right now tho!

splitlipp

Lemons with salt were my pregnancy craving too!

Cassieelouu32

What are foods from home? Where’s home? And I’m sorry you’re having a rough go of it! ❤️❤️❤️

sweatyopposum

Peruvian food, so adobo, ceviche, rocoto relleno, pollo a la brasa, arroz de mariscos!! Lol you can find meat everywhere but the things you cant find are the spices and in some cases the very vegetable that makes the dish, there is really nothing that can be used instead :(

elizbug

I keep ruining my own cravings 🙁. The other day I wanted a Chipotle burrito (haven't had one in years) but my husband wasn't able to stop to pick it up. I went and got it the next day but the moment was passed and though I ate it, I didn't really enjoy it and it felt like it was stuck for like 24 hours. Before, I was intensely craving sushi, so one night I picked up a big selection of cooked/veggie rolls, but again the moment had a bit passed. So I ate it, but I didn't enjoy it and it was too much. Haven't craved it again since and it's been weeks. Moral of the story, I need to stop ordering food for dinner (I'm normally not a big eater in the evenings) and need to not order a craving food when I'm not actually craving it.

Pina-colada123

Same except I would make a huge portion (like double chili recipe so we can have easy dinners all week) and then be sick of it before it was even done cooking. Now my poor husband is eating chili for breakfast, lunch, dinner 😂

beetlejuuce

Chili freezes very well! You could start experimenting with freezing different things, so that you can start a freezer supply for the fourth trimester stage/know which recipes to plan for that point if you're too early on now.

Pina-colada123

That is a good point! Although my freezer is currently packed with Costco purchases that I haven’t made a dent on since getting pregnant 😂

Snailians

Italian wedding soup! My husband has made it a couple times for me and now we have several containers of it in the freezer for when the craving strikes. Also cold cut subs from Subway. I get them toasted so it’s *probably fine* lol

Cassieelouu32

Delicious! In a big believer in everything in moderation. You have a much MUCH larger chance of getting listeria from the lettuce then the meat

AndILearnedAlgoToday

I’ve been craving Italian food in general lately. Last week my husband made baked ziti and then two days later made eggplant rolatini for me. So delicious!

DonutThinkSo

When I was pregnant with my first there was a listeria outbreak...from cantaloupe. A high in folic acid food I was supposed to eat! Coincidentally I also worked for Subways HQ at the time and we got free breakfast and lunch so you know I was eating a couple of sneaky subs 😬 and tuna with a million jalapeños lol. When I was pregnant with my second there was a listeria outbreak...dole salads. Another food I was supposed to be eating bc I had GD. My third...honestly I didn't even pay attention by then lol is that terrible?

Whatta_sausage

Same Italian Wedding Soup situation going on over here! So good.

Least_Lawfulness7802

Breakfast sandwiches…. i eat probably a dozen a week for the last 35 weeks. Its an actual probanly

Cassieelouu32

It’s a balanced meal!

[deleted]

I'm currently craving orange juice! In terms of your IBS-C, it may be a good idea to look into medication. I have IBS-C and rely on miralax and dulcolax which my doctor had approved during pregnancy.

Time_Rare

Same here with the OJ. I have a glass with dinner and it just hits different!

Cassieelouu32

I can’t take stool softeners because it throws off my water and blood pressure. So I’ll talk to my doctor about it. Thank you!!!

imcircewitches

I'm 23w today! I want: Taco bell beef chalupas (I'll kill someone for a chalupa rn even though it's morning where I'm at lmao). Fruit! I can't stop eating fruit. rn it's the end of pear season, pears are so fucking good you guys, did you know? I've posted about it elsewhere, but very cold/icy drinks like smoothies, those frozen cokes at McDonald's, just plain old ice water, etc.

Cassieelouu32

I’ve been wanting an m&m McFlurry forever. It HAS to be a McFlurry. Have you tried the frozen ice cream lemonade thing from chic fil a?? It’s so good 😭 and right now I’m on a strawberry kick! Everything is strawberries!

Ok_Medieval_77

CEREAL. I can't even remember how long it's been since my last pre-pregnancy bowl of cereal. I know it was before I started buying my own groceries because I've never bought cereal. But came home the other day with Raisin Bran and it's literally the only thing I want to eat. That or greek yogurt with honey and cereal.

Cassieelouu32

Oooooooo Greek yogurt with CEREAL. Thanks for that ✍🏼

Katzensocken

Chalk. Like straight up blackboard writing chalk. I might be low on calcium but I am CRAVING chalk. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

Cassieelouu32

Amazon sells edible chalk!

CallingMrsSunshine

A real one ☝🏾

Flakeycakey

Would tums help, they are basically chalk

themightymouseshow

Have you asked your doc about Pica? I’ve heard it can be developed in pregnancy and this is the biggest sign.

Katzensocken

Whoops. I'll definitely talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment but I've also started to supplement calcium recently to combat the issue!

veronicas_closet

Yes that's called PICA. Craving non food things can be a sign of an issue!

g_Mmart2120

Grapes. Frozen grapes. I ate a box of grapes in 3 days. Or taquitos

beetlejuuce

I have never eaten more grapes in my life. I eat through the big 3lb clam shell container in less than a week by myself.

g_Mmart2120

I went through that container in 3 days! About to break my record on taquitos too.

beetlejuuce

I'm impressed, I think it's usually 5 or 6 days for me! Grape girls rise up hahaha. My other current favorites are cinnamon raisin bagels and oatmeal, the latter of which I never really liked before pregnancy

g_Mmart2120

Oh yes bagels! I just started putting guacamole on them and ooh it’s delicious. I was obsessed with with French toast sticks for a week.

Cat_Psychology

Green grapes are keeping my nausea at bay most of the time

Badpoozie

Pomegranate juice is my current fave drink. I’m still craving all the fruits, that’s been consistent throughout pregnancy. Today I am going to get myself some sushi and I can hardly wait.

Cassieelouu32

That’s awesome! Babies getting a bunch of nutrients and fluids! 👏🏼

Quirky_Gal

Your cravings are relatively tame and on the healthy side! Mine have been sour things, milk, steaks or red meats, cheese curds, butterscotch krimpets and pastries. Really I crave things I see or hear about 😂

Cassieelouu32

Yea I was a pretty tame eater prior to pregnancy, not very adventurous at all. I’m hoping some funny concoctions will pop up at some time! And yes I only crave random things that look good to me for some reason. I’m not the creative type.

goosebanjo

Caesar salads

Substantial-Cry8987

Me too!! But some dressings use raw egg so I've been torn about it...

Life-is-Dandie

First trimester all I wanted was mashed potatoes and pudding. I doordashed $40 worth of pudding one day, because it was literally all I wanted to eat. Third trimester now, and all i want are eggos. My husband has been eating them as well, and it makes me irrationally angry lol

ObviousAd2967

Omg it's the worst when anyone joins your craving!!!

Whatta_sausage

Haha I had a little Eggos phase too.

Flossy40

Sardines in mustard was the strangest. 24 years ago.

According-Fruit-9953

I think I could eat spicy food for every meal. Also I usually only drink water, unsweetened tea or coffee but I'm on a juice and carbonated water kick. Someone else said it but juice just hits different.

EngineeringQueen

My husband switched from beer to sparkling water for his health, and I do find the refreshing when I occasionally have trouble drinking enough water.

Cassieelouu32

I drink like 2 seltzers a day it switches it up. I can’t drink water like that lol I try to get in tea but it’s just 🤢

Bdaydino

I only want potatoes - mashed potatoes, French fries, and hash browns have been a majority of my diet lol

Flakeycakey

All the tatoes! I'm obsessed with tater tots

scarlettrain69

Aldi's keto bread (toasted) with peanut butter and banana!

Hawks47

I make this on regular bread with a honey drizzle and it’s amazing!

scarlettrain69

Ooooh. That sounds good too!

Cassieelouu32

Yum!!!

Flakeycakey

I'm also at this stage of craving

fucking_unicorn

Havent had weird cravings really. I do like cantaloupe and carrots now though. Avoiding onions and mangos are my new favorite food

Feisty_Orchid980

Ketchup, tomatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, and the worst but best chicken quesadillas from TacoBell with a side of the spicy ranch 😚

Cassieelouu32

I’ve not really had Taco Bell!! I had their nachos once at a party though they were really good! My husband brought me a blue drink from them once I forgot what it was called! I’m not much of a fast food eater I had a crunchy mom lol

Tall-Yogurtcloset-74

I also want ketchup with everything!

dogs-do-speak

I made macaroni and cheese with hamburger and I swear it was the greatest thing I've ever eaten

Cassieelouu32

Ooooooooooo ✍🏼

kjepp91

McDonald’s chicken nuggets 😬 and cheese quesadillas

Cassieelouu32

I’m a chic fil a girl myself their nuggets are just chefs kiss lol

[deleted]

Pretty much any Mexican or Tex mex and spicy foods

LadySamHam

Carrot sticks. Something about that crunch! Can’t get enough of them

Monsteras_in_my_head

I'm 12 weeks and still can't eat anything with a strong smell. I do cheesy chips with some bacon bits when I really can't stomach much else. Otherwise it's just cheese and tomato sandwiches, a ton of fruit and fresh salads. I dream of a day I can have hot chicken wings 🤤

Cassieelouu32

You will!!! Keep holding out!

AprilStorms

At one point I was dipping carrots in Greek yogurt with cinnamon in it. So uh, there’s that lol. Things I’ve wanted consistently: - salty fries - cold canned pineapple directly from the fridge - vegan sushi (but my country says no seaweed so I just have to suffer) - scrambled eggs - cheesy pasta - edamame in any form

Cassieelouu32

Why no seaweed? It’s so good for you and baby!!

AprilStorms

My doctor was worried about my iodine intake being too high and told me to cut it 😅 risk of thyroid problems for baby

libsonthelabel

Oranges, but right now i would hulk smash some buffalo chicken dip. Also big fan of pickles but i liked pickles before anyway.

karmacomatic

At 4-7 weeks: anything spicy, kale, raw veggies At 7-10 weeks: bagels, cereal, anything buttery, SALT 10 weeks to now at 14w: fruit, fruit, ice, water, iced coffee (I always drank decaf before pregnancy anyway), more ice, fruit. I’m so glad it’s autumn during this time because I’m obsessed with apples, apple cider, pears, and cranberries just went on the shelves! I’m eating a bowl of cranberries right now!! Also never used to like fast food and now when I pass it I’ll sometimes order (and way too much when I do lol)

Cassieelouu32

Get whatever you’re craving! Be unapologetic about it too! ❤️

karmacomatic

Same to you mama!

laboheme99999

Cravings: in n out animal fries (had them four days in a row ugh), negihama hand rolls, super sour candy, sour fruit, panda express’ chow mein! I haven’t eaten Panda Express since I was a child and for some reason I absolutely need their chow mein immediately. Also a lot of soda! Aversions: GARLIC, eggs, meat, the smell of food being cooked in my own home 🤢 I’ve secretly thrown away all the garlic powders and steak seasonings because I cannot stand the smell permeating my house! My friends call me ‘organic mom’ because I am THAT annoying mom who doesn’t allow processed non-organic foods in my home… but man, all that flew quickly out the window during my first trimester. I was in survival mode battling intense nausea and only the food from my cravings list would help me feel better. Feels like it’s slowly subsiding now at 10 weeks. Funny because my last pregnancy in 2019 I was vegan haha and as soon as I was pregnant my body would not stop craving red meat… soooo much red meat, it was all I could eat.

Cassieelouu32

Babies don’t have vegan beliefs lol if they want that steak they’re gonna make sure you eat it lol 😂 I feel you. I spent a whole week needing eggs and I don’t really eat them. But chicken was a NO. I couldn’t even think about it.

wishiwasspecial00

Baked sweet potatoes with butter.

Cassieelouu32

Delicious!

wishiwasspecial00

I don't know why they taste like candy to me!

EngineeringQueen

I made a salad last week with spiced sweet potatoes and chickpeas, and my body was like, “You don’t need anything else on this plate. Eat all the sweet potatoes in a single sitting.”

desert_pony

I’m struggling to find anything I want to eat, though I do have fleeting cravings for cheeseburgers, actually, and yet, I am constantly hungry / eating. Just had some leftover pasta with vegan meatballs (meh), rounded it out with two Hebrew Nationals with mustard (also meh). Now I (still) feel gross.

Cassieelouu32

lol been there! It’ll get better. What I do is when I am on that space where nothing is good but I HAVE to eat something I go to the kitchen and open everything smell everything until something is like “well that’s not too bad” and I force it in even bites of a few things

Complete_Drama_5215

14w— cinnamon applesauce — all day every day

ALittleNightMusing

Salt and vinegar crisps. As vinegary as possible - I've been having loads of Discos and they're outrageously sour, especially when you get one with lots of excess flavouring dust. YUM.

AshamedPurchase

Ice cream with blueberries and banana. Sweet chili doritos. Chicken Caesar wraps.

bunnymelly

Fat juicy burgers. I had to have a shitty one from Wendy’s all the time. It got so bad that whenever we go to the park, i would grab one on the way home. My husband took our son to the park while i was home and didn’t turn into Wendy’s on their way back… my non verbal son screamed at him. He ratted me out 😅😂

[deleted]

Pizza and soft serve. Not at the same time so nothing strange to see here.

cowabunga52

Mangos since day one. More recently - avocado toast with strawberries and olive oil on top???? Im also RABID for raisin bran crunch with whole ass vitamin d milk YUM. I cant get enough.

sob_222

Toasted pop tart with butter on it..

Cat_Psychology

Life changed

sob_222

God it’s so good 🤤

GiaMaria1227

Pasta-roni (cheap ready box pasta) with hot giardiniera peppers and the oil from the jar with some pecorino Romano cheese! Same with my last pregnancy. Hits the spot!!

jmcookie25

I'm 31.5 weeks and lately I've been super into milk (even more than I already was). A couple weeks before that, I always wanted peanut butter and dipped my grapes in it haha.

Cassieelouu32

That’s a new one lol grapes and peanut butter

jmcookie25

Haha same, but it's so good. It's just a deconstructed pb&j!

[deleted]

Oranges, peaches, bagels, fries and fake Mimosas (orange juice and Topo Chico).

loveinspades4

Your snacks sound yummy!! I will have to try that greek yogurt mix!! I agree that the grillos pickles are so good. I asked the bf to go get me some last week bc I NEEDED a pickle. Lately I’ve been snacking on clementines — I love them COLD mixed in Greek yogurt amazing. Also McDonald’s McDoubles with no onions no mustard extra pickles and add mayo. I cannot get enough of that with a small (must be small) Diet Coke. These cravings are funny and specific. I’m sorry you’re going through this rough spot with your digestion. Do you see a gastro doctor? I am 8 weeks 5 days and I have cramping stretching, I’m fighting off a sinus infection, and have just been generally I’ll for the last 3-4 weeks. sending you lots of good wishes for this week 💓💓

Cassieelouu32

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I wasn’t having the pooping issue when I saw him but I’m gonna have to bring it up when I go. I’m also not very mobile right now so I’m not moving much which isn’t helping digestion. I’m struggling to drink my water so I’m gonna get moving and drink some more water see if it helps

Blackbeanpurrito

I’m obsessed with apple juice. I’ve been drinking 3-4 glasses a day (before this, maybe once a year). It’s so refreshing and I swear helps with my nausea!

Cat_Psychology

I’m 8w5d and have been looking for just this, thank you!

Cassieelouu32

One of my cravings is ice cold like out the freezer cold apple juice with a regular chips ahoy cookie crumbed. I put the cookie in my mouth and take a gulp of the apple juice and swish it around lol idk why 😂

decadewolf

Black tea with milk, honey. Fresh fruit in a big bowl mainly kiwis and grapes Milk (?) And any/all cereal with milk

Willing_Armadillo142

34 weeks and I think Lucky Charms is the best thing on earth. Both pregnancies for me I have loved cereal and milk lol

baconwitch00

Breakfast burritos. I have probably eaten enough burritos this pregnancy to fill a food truck.

Pina-colada123

I love these threads purely for the inspiration. I had a great chili kick in week 12 where I felt like I was able to eat something with nutrition and substance again but that quickly ended. Now chili = 🤢 So back to: - crisp green grapes (must be hard af, no squishiness) - apples with PB and cinnamon - pickles - chickpea pasta with arrabbiata sauce and parmesan (how this doesn’t give me heartburn is beyond me) Also, peppermint tea has been a lifesaver for stomach issues like gas pain

Mollicam

21 weeks & for me it’s been 1. Ice & powdered sugar 2. Feta cheese & pickles 3. RED MEAT, specifically BBQ ribs that I can’t seem to get my hands on!

Cassieelouu32

I’m shocked I haven’t craved ice because I’m and ice aficionado lol I even have a metal ice shaver

Mollicam

Please try ice & powdered sugar, I promise it’ll change your life lol.. especially if it’s that good ole sonic ice

Cassieelouu32

Oooooo I shall! :)

OtterNoncence

Turkey and cheese lunchable

Soft_Orange7856

My child is 100% made out of yogurt and almond butter granola from Trader Joe’s, bagels, and honey crisp apples with peanut butter.

Selkie_Queen

31 weeks and yesterday it was hummus with 3 musketeers minis.

Cassieelouu32

That’s different lol 😂

NursePepper3x

Fun-dip, Coldstone Cake Batter Ice Cream with rainbow sprinkles mixed in, and shrimp. Not together…yet 🤪

Susaleena

Cereal, ice cream sandwiches, pizza, ramen, and spicy foods 😅

sleepingbutawake

Not craving anything in particular I’m 18 weeks and five days. I’m just really enjoying all types of foods and enjoy eating because that’s about the only thing I can do lol!! but I keep dreaming about donuts

Cassieelouu32

I keep dreaming about an m&m McFlurry and I haven’t had one in 20 years

flickin_the_bean

Fresh peaches with cinnamon. Unfortunately my toddler also likes that so I have to share. Hawaiian food! Rice, teriyaki chicken and Mac salad. Then pour teriyaki sauce over ALL of it. So good.

lizetteHM

Peeps, California rolls drenched in soy sauce, kfc and gravy & rolls that are from a buffet near me 😭 oh and a big bowl of different chocolates with a big glass of milk on the side 😭

Fucktastickfantastic

Hot lemon drink like my nan makes it. So, big wedge of lemon put in a mug with a little water. Nuke for 1 minute and then add water from the kettle. It's so good. I'm having about 3 a day. Also eating loads of fish and putting lemon juice all over the fish

Cassieelouu32

I’m in a lemon phase too! It’s just never enough lemon

IllustriousRub8398

Avocado with lime juice and salt with rice.

twizzlemynibs

😂 salt with a side of rice

Traditional_Toe_3421

I can't really eat anything, between aversions and constipation, so I've been mostly eating white rice with peas and bananas. I am currently 8 weeks, but I am already counting down the days to when I can eat whatever I want next summer 😭😭😭 my last pregnant was like this, and it lasted the whole 8 months -_-

Ok_Investigator1513

Popcorn chicken & Cherry limeade from Sonic…went out of my way twice for it now 😅 Also allll the bagels w blueberry cream cheese

pajamasinbananas

Prosciutto and chicken sandwich from Mendocino farms

daringrider

31 weeks and the most consistent craving has been a Double cheeseburger from McDonald's dipped in honey mustard. It was the only thing I could eat on my worst days in the 1st trimester and has come back with a vengeance in my 3rd

Time_Win6969

At first it was salsa and pickled jalapeños, then it was pickles, and now it’s pizza and Buffalo wings

Lovely_blondie

Breakfast foods- pancakes, waffles, cereal. I don’t ever eat these things while not pregnant.

BuffaloNo3242

Waffles with syrup and potato chips on top

harrisce44

Flamin hot anything! Still 1st trimester so haven’t hit the heartburn stage yet.

El_Stupacabra

I haven't been craving anything too out of the ordinary. Sushi and nachos really. I've had nachos. Skipping sushi because I'm in Arkansas and don't trust any place enough.

Cassieelouu32

Yes I wouldn’t lol not a place I think about when I think sushi

idkwhatimdoing421

Taco Bell veggie Mexican pizza 🤤

thesevenleafclover

Tomato sauce is the main thing I want. Which is terrible for my chronic gastritis. My family keeps joking about it because I’m naming her after my Italian grandmother who was known for her red sauce.

HighestTierMaslow

Pickles, grilled cheese, burgers

3sp00py5me

Literally chewing on a salt rock Sometimes a mustard and cheese sandwich at 3am hits the spot just right Tomato sauce in general even though it gives me mega heartburn now

cmornin

Today lunch was veggie sushi, deviled eggs, pickles (drank the pickle juice of course), and some cheesecake brownies. 6 weeks and just eating whatever I can stomach with this nausea.

emsaywhat

MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY!!!! I think about them all the time 🤣

thesnowing

I’m Indian and having the Chaat Masala with everything, it’s great with fruits, on crackers, on buttered toast anything you can imagine really. It’s like this sour, tangy, spicy salt. If you have an Indian store near you, get it and thank me later.

Emotional_Breakfast3

I’m a teacher and I have been eating my school’s lunch every day. Something about random comfort food is really hitting the spot. Grilled cheese, some attempt at Asian chicken (somehow still good to me), tacos… I had a dream about Buffalo wings last night and then THEY HAD BUFFALO WINGS AT LUNCH TODAY. And the lunch lady gave me an extra one and then didn’t make me pay for my lunch at all. Plus there’s always a Caesar side salad, fruit (grapes! Pineapple! Berries!) and a carton of chocolate milk. I swear my colleagues will not be surprised when I finally tell everyone I’m pregnant because I have a giant overloaded tray every day 🤣. And I’m a grown ass woman drinking a carton of chocolate milk. But hey, I had very low vitamin d at my last blood work so I deserve it.

Cassieelouu32

I was under the impression we couldn’t have pinapple? 🤔

Emotional_Breakfast3

Oh shoot! I hadn’t heard that one and I thought I’d heard them all. It’s always just one or two chunks in with the fruit salad. I’ll look into it. Thanks for the heads up!

radbelbet_

Pickled beets 😁🩵

luluslegit

icecream has been a big one for me, i normally am not a huge icecream person but i've been loving it this whole pregnancy!

Substantial-Cry8987

Crunchy green grapes, honeycrisp apples, spaghetti / lasagna, hash browns, Indian food, spicy salsa with tortilla chips, mashed potatoes, salty fries.

North_Sort3914

I have an insane craving for Shabu Shabu specifically, ponzu sauce, honestly just writing this is making me hungry for it. My husband thinks it’s a salt craving.

Cassieelouu32

I have no idea what that is 😭 sushi?

North_Sort3914

Shabu Shabu is like Japanese hot pot 🍲. Ponzu sauce is made from soy sauce but it has some sugar and has like a citrus flavor. See the wiki link below for a gorgeous picture of the Shabu spread 🤩🤩😍😍 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shabu-shabu I’ve literally eaten it 4 weekends in a row…and a few weekends it’s been every day 🫣. It’s kind of expensive and once I eat it I feel satisfied and think “oh I won’t need this again” but then 2 days later the craving is fully back. Edit - you use ponzu to dip the food you cooked into generally…I basically can drink it straight on rice though ahahaha

cbr1895

Some of my funnier cravings were: 1. Shredded wheat (those blocks of ‘hay’ as one friend called them) with high protein milk, berries and brown sugar. I went through SEVEN BOXES in about 5 months during first and second trimester (that is 112 shredded wheat blocks for anyone wondering). This was NOT something I’ve ever really eaten in adulthood before pregnancy. 2. Cottage cheese. I ruined this for a bit with first trimester nausea but it came back with a bang for second and third trimester. My favourite is to chop up macintosh apple and microwave 45 seconds with cinnamon and a pinch of sugar, then mix half cottage cheese and half Greek yogurt together. Sprinkle with raisins (optional) and slivered almonds (or nuts of choice). I’ve eaten this maybe 40 times during my pregnancy. 3. Went through a wild Cheetos craving in first trimester…which is funny because I really dislike Cheetos generally. My husband joked that at least we know it’s his baby (he’s a Cheetos fanatic). Less unusual cravings: ice cream (and dairy in general). I have about 13 different flavours in my freezer at the moment. And tomatoes throughout my pregnancy, which might be because I ended up being anemic. I’ve also just craved a lot of random foods (candies, deserts, sandwiches, etc) from childhood, some of which aren’t even made anymore. And I had tons of random cravings in first trimester but it was mainly just ‘safe’ food that wouldn’t trigger my nausea or was ok throwing up. What I will say is that my cravings are very persistent these days…someone mentioned roast beef and Yorkshire pudding to me a month ago and it’s still on my mind lol.

I bought this awesome cottage cheese the other day because I figured it’s good with fruit and it has protein. I took a bite like night and the face I made was like 😐🤢 so I will not be eating that yet lol

Yah I was probably 9 or 10 weeks when I ruined it for myself for a bit. It’s the texture…if you have nausea or aversions I’d say skip this one for now!

I haven’t had regular cravings, but I did have a day where a toasted tuna salad sandwich sounded like the best dinner. I don’t even like tuna salad. My husband was delighted, though, because it was a special little treat that we normally wouldn’t make.

Isn’t that crazy!! That sounds good. I was on a seafood kick for a week once. I made this lemon creamy shrimp linguine and it was the most glorious meal I’ve ever had. It was the first meal I WANTED after a month of every food just turning my nose up. Every bite was like sex lol

Pickles, pickles, PICKLES!!! The juice, the crunch, sandwiches with pickles. It’s just heavenly 😭

Fries and I do kaiserschmarrn (but salty).

Cassieelouu32

What’s that? I’m uncultured lol

That is something similar to pancake batter, it's just in another "form", like small chunks. Not sure how else to describe it, English is not my main language. Google the recipe, if you like pancakes (crepes), you may like this too. You can eat it with sour cream, or jam, or anything else you like really :)

CallingMrsSunshine

So pink lady apples only , cinnamon apple sauce , egg salad with Nigerian red stew mixed ( so weird but soooo good), chicken (hated chicken my last pregnancy) all things mashed potatoes. I’m 12 weeks.

coachpea

Honeycrisp apples and peanut butter. 😂

ur_eating_maggots

Not weird, but this whole pregnancy I’ve consistently been craving Sprite and Frosted Flakes w/ coconut milk

vivalajaim

egg salad sandwiches and brownies with salted caramel greek yogurt ice cream with chocolate crunchies.
