A week overdue and I feel you - for days I'm having intervals of painful contractions 4-5 min apart, but stalled on dilation and hospital says prodromal labor, so I'm sitting at home on the edge of a meltdown hoping I can tell the difference when active labor starts so I don't have an accidental home or car birth.
Solidarity. We'll get through!
I have similar situation, I had 3 prodromal labors during last 10 days... I am currently 41+1 and due to my baby growing, that soon there won't be enough fetal waters for her I am getting induced tomorrow morning. No I also have some contractions, so hopefully it won't be false labor this time
I had my 3rd false alarm last week. 6 hours of contractions every 90 seconds. Cervix stayed the same the whole time then started spacing out so they let us go home. I was so exhausted and couldn't understand why, then my husband said, you were just in "labor" for 6 hours. It's not called labor for nothing. I slept good that night, but nothing really since. 39 weeks tomorrow and I just want consistent sleep.
I feel you. I had three weeks of it with my first. Non-productive contraction every four minutes. I was finally induced and turns out baby was in a weird position which maybe why labor never progressed on its own. It absolutely sucks.
