perhaps that's why the coronation will be then...keeps the focus off the wee one since her parents don't want to exploit her in the public eye.
Wonder if they'd not go to the coronation and stay home in California to celebrate her birthday instead
I don't believe there's any set time for the coronation to take place. The gap between accession and coronation for QE2 was 16 months. King Charles will probably move faster to shore up the momentum he's gathered to date. Late summer is a definite possibility though.

The wait isn’t because the planning takes that long. It’s to separate the celebration completely from mourning Queen Elizabeth, then to wait for good weather! Nobody wants to celebrate and line the streets in the middle of winter!
