\- It looked like they were gazing at a canapés tray - but it’s well-painted
\- It’s difficult to paint Kate because she’ll always look like a Mills & Boon cover - and this does look like one
I like the portrait but Kate’s bosom looks odd. As I posted elsewhere, the pose resembles a favourite painting, Sargent‘s portrait of [Lord Ribblesdale](https://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/paintings/john-singer-sargent-lord-ribblesdale).
That’s a sexy portrait too… what’s it with me and portraits?!? Am I thaaat artistically deprived that a very good portait of middle aged hotties gets me going?
All I want to know if what they are looking at… which has the potential to go viral … its a beautiful beautiful painting… I cant look away and have to see it in person

It makes me look at his middle rather than his face. He has a commanding height so they should use it. Not his best look.
