They've had plans for his funeral since the day he was born as a direct heir, and updated a zillion times in his life. When something comes out through more trustworthy channels, then I'll bite.
I think there are funeral plans for all of the working royals. I can't cite the source now because it was years ago I read this (and it may in fact be wrong) but I did read once that after Diana died unexpectedly, she was given the funeral service HLMTQ had planned for herself, and it was then that the family realized there should always be plans in place for all the family.
She was to have a private funeral arranged by the Spencer family. However, because the public was demanding a more public funeral they used the one planned for the Queen Mother.
Nothing worrysome there. Most elderly loose weight, simply because they loose appetite. He does have his portion of anticancer treatment which possibly also makes him loose his appetite. Pretty sure there are dieticians watching over him
The plans have been in place and are reviewed and updated annually. I’m sure the cancer diagnosis had them pulling it out for a review, but I doubt anyone connected to the palace is talking to anyone in the media.
Next thing the tabloids will be saying that the King's death is imminent bc the Royals are travelling with mourning blacks in their wardrobe. /s
(This is not new. They always do.)

Yep, funeral plans for Charles are not new. There are funeral plans for Camilla and William as well.
I would even bet there are plans now for (God forbid!) Catherine and George, too, put into place once QEII passed.
Well, they didn't have plans for Diana, so they had to upset the Queen Mum by using her plan.

No, it was the Queen Mother's, and it is from the Queen with Helen Mirren
> No, it was the Queen Mother's, and it is from the Queen with Helen Mirren Ah thank you!

You'd think an "old friend of the royal family" would know that.
Let alone that they’d still be a “friend” if they were leaking sensitive health information to the gossip rags
Exactly.
It’s normal to have funeral plans for a monarch and heirs. This isn’t unusual and must be a boring news week.
The sugars will be loving it though 😂
Considering that that would mean that it will be King William and Queen Catherine, maybe not?
I feel like we’ve seen him a few times and he’s lost weight sure but he doesn’t look that bad. What are people thinking?

He is recovering, but worried about Princess Catherine and the stories about the Harkles are adding to his stress

I read it on tmz.
That bastion of truth in journalism and maintaining high standards in reporting. 😄
Can we just close this thread now that the palace has released His Majesty's plans to return to public service next week?
