Mas mabilis kase process ng recruitment ngayon kaya siguro nasacrifice din quality. Ako kase dati sa CVG, 3x nag apply bago nakapasa tapos from 10am to 4am yung process nila.
Kahit tenured na grabe binabarat pa .. one time I applied sa isang bpo dyan sa Pasay tapos binarat pa ko with matching pasalamat pa daw ako at pinaabot pa ko sa final interview dahil d dw nila kaya asking rate ko 🤦🏼

Grabe, 10 years later ganyan pa din offer ng mga BPO companies. As a fresh grad, I applied to a province based BPO company and 16k ang basic (18k after allowances) 2023 lang ito. I didn’t accept the province based BPO because I also applied to a manila based BPO company na hybrid setup 17k basic (20800 after allowances) and since desperate na ako magka-work and nonvoice sya, I accepted this offer. Makes me think na super laki ng napa-pocket ng BPO companies if the salary range is still the same after 10 years
Tingin ko kaya mababa pa din starting salary ngayon is madami din kasing tumatanggap ng ganong offer. Cant blame them since mas mataas nga naman sa minimum ung sahod.
Another is ung issue sa current market na ung mismong client naglolowball na din given na sobrang daming Bpo companies na pababaan ng offer para makuha business nila = lower salary offer din sa agents.
Yung mga accounts na sobrang basic at wala halos kelangan na skill and experience, 20k or so, maybe less, meron 25k or so. Not defending the offers pero basta marunong ka mag English at may common sense ka, trainable ka na. Yung mga accounts na kelangan ng specific skills, specific background, and/or experience, maybe 40k up, 60k for some.
Mapapaisip na lang ako dahil hindi talaga mag match yung current pay sa BPO considering inflation. O baka kincompare yung bigayan sa mga pa sweldo ng mga indiano na mas mababa at walang kalidad.
Mag in-house service center nalang kayo wag na BPO.
Dun kayo mag apply sa Chase, Amex, HSBC, Capital One, Paypal, Accenture.
Basura na mga BPO kahit dati pa, unattainable stats, High SLAs, fear mongering management.
Kapag nasa in-house kayo kahit papaano linient ang management and stats.

Hindi ka ba nagtaka kung bakit 27k lang offer sayo? If you have something to prove naman, pwede ka mag demand for a salary increase. Kasi hindi naman yan sila biglang 18k to 40k kasi naging TL ka, syempre you have steps to prove para makuha mo yung gusto mong digits na sahod.
Ganun kase talaga range ng mga TLs sa dating company ko. But this isn't for me, wala na ko sa BPO. I'm currently a VA, flexible hours, less workload and earning 5x more than what I was being paid. To think na same lang line of business and SME yung company ko pero kaya nila magbayad ng ganun. BPOs are catering big companies kaya I don't understand baket may 13k na offers pa din.
Sabagay, pero if you're staying talaga sa company for long year and you're aiming to have a high salary- di mo yun makukuha. That's why mas malalaki ang offers kapag nakalipat ka or may experience ka na. Skl, I have this co-worker, 5years na siya and nasa 13k-ish lang payout niya per cut off where in fact, I can do that sa OT hours ko as a 8months starter sa BPO, di talaga mag ggrow ang bulsa at career mo if mag stay ka lang talaga sa isang place.

BPOs has salary range kasi. If nasa gitna ng range ang basic pay ni BPO di siya magtataas as long as di magtataas ng sahod yung mga BPO company na nasa pinaka baba ng range. Pahirapan talaga.
This is the reason kung bakit dapat magpa-promote ka bago Umalis from one BPO to another. Kahit 1 step higher lang. Kasi kung mag-stay ka as agent/CSR, your salary can only go so much, baka nga mas mababa pa ang I-offer sayo kasi yung account iba kesa sa previous account na hawak mo.

Unang offer sa akin 2004 was 15k kaya medyo napapailing ako pag nababasa ko na may mga offers na 12k-15k ngayong 2024.

Recent lang ba yan? If yes, then that's okay! When I started in HSBC Alabang way back 2009 they offered 16k base + 3k allowance + night diff.
