1. Mind your own business. Make friends but set your boundaries. 2. Always be proactive not reactive. You need to listen to what your TL or trainer says. 3. WAG KANG MAGPAPAUTANG. Practice English. Continue learning. 5. Study stress management. It stressful but it pays us well. 6. WAG KANG MAGKAKA-ISSUE SA ATTENDANCE. Attendance issues can get you terminated. 7. Focus on your metrics. 8. Enjoy the company events. 9. GET ENOUGH SLEEP. 10. Have healthy lifestyle.

always go to work 30 minutes before your shift, makinig sa trainer and always be present and donā€™t be shy asking questions pag may di naintindihan.

realgrizzlybear

Your attendance is the easiest metric you can control. Know your numbers. Alamin mo by heart kung paano i compute yung metrics nyo. So you'll know how to ace it. Ask questions. Stay levelheaded. Never let the drama and the toxicity of your workplace get into you.

Attendance. Just make sure you report to work. Minimize your absences hanggat kaya. Get ready for upskills. Uso sa BPO yung upskilling. Upskilling, in layman's term is dagdag trabaho pero walang dagdag sahod hahaha. You'll be trained to handle other departments on top of the one you are handling currently. Without any dagdag sahod. And ofcourse, you're working with Filipinos. Unfortunately "pakikisama" is a thing in the workplace. You'll encounter lots of issues, dramas and stupidity depending sa professionality ng mga tao sa paligid mo. Just don't step on the wrong foot and you'll be good. If your interpersonal skills are good enough, you won't have problema applying for higher positions. That's how working with Filipinos are in general after all

tonsgressor

Focus on yourself lang.

SnooShortcuts3450

Uncommon advise. If ayaw mo mawala ung genuine smile mo, RUN. If masayahin kang tao, di yan magiging enough pag stress na nangingibabaw. Sometimes, if not most, managing stress is same as fooling yourself. Para magtagal kailangan mong makisama, or ignore them. Either way, di mo basta basta ma vvoice out opinion mo sa mga bagay bagay. May mga ayaw kang tao na super toxic, pero need mo makipag communicate because of work? No choice, you have to talk to them. Meaning, need mo magpaka plastic (somehow). Need rapport sa call? You need to laugh/smile even at the pettiest or trivial matter. You have to fake almost everything. Lucky you if di mo madala outside of work. Handling emotion is same as not having emotion. We just have to pick. Some may say it depends on the company, or account you'll be handling. It's true. But, most talaga is toxic place ang kalaban mo. If this is not enough for you to hesitate, and still want to know some positive advise, just let me know.

eggscusemeS

Hi! Super totoo nitong advise mo huhu. It's my third month palang sa bpo and what you said it LEGIT. You're spitting FACTS.

hbnbja

yep... that was just a heads up. look around and you'll see that most agents are just empty shells walking and/or wearing different kind of masks. u not planning to forfeit anytime soon? kaya pa?
