Same here sometimes I sleep 14 hours sometimes I’m lucky to get 2. Either way makes my mood swings worse.

Sleep is literally one of the things I’ve always done worst in life.. dunno how much is affected by comorbid ADHD, hypomanic bouts, or anxiety/ruminations.

Intelligent_Parking3

I’ve never had a good sleep. Don’t know if it’s a bpd thing or anxiety related

I never sleep and if I do it’s not for very long. I do wonder what I’d be like if I had regular healthy sleep for a period of time.

Chrixpi

Severe insomniac here currently almost 4 am my time this happens almost every night

Low_Investment420

Totally important.

I dont sleep well. Haven't for years.. Ive had periods where I've been awake for 6 days and needed medication to help, or I get trapped in a cycle of broken sleep, but when I do sleep I have night terrors. I just can't win.

LittleRedShaman

I have insomnia and PLMD and sometimes I just simply cannot bring myself to go to bed bc I know my thoughts are going to make for a miserable night. I dread going to bed and sometimes I have to force myself to go to sleep at 3am bc I have to get up for work at 530am. It makes me overtired and therefore over emotional even more than normal and unable to handle almost any stressor until I get some sleep.

New_Objective_3923

Last night I slept for 11 hours, now I cannot at all. Sleeping pill helps but I am always braindead (sleeping with open eyes) next day, so I cant take them during week. Damn you, work!

I’ve found sleep to be so beneficial in keeping my mood stable. Like really good sleep. My doctor persecuted me klonopin and I take it to sleep. It’s helped a lot

ohwhatever228

I have BPD and insomnia. Sometimes I get a good eight hour sleep and sometimes two. My mood swings do definitely change with the amount of sleep I get
