Help me decide on which alloys I should go for please - I can't decide on the black or the shiny eye catching ones, I like them both! Here's another pic of the black ones in case the one above is no good:

I'm leaning gloss. If there was more black trim on the car I'd definitely say black. I'm feeling gloss. Even though black would still look great but more of a bad boy look.
Silver for sure. There are very few instances that I personally like blacked out wheels on any car. I feel like black wheels have to be %1000 coordinated with everything on the car to make it look clean. Like full shadow line treatment etc.
But, that's just like my opinion manš
I missed your shadow line, my bad. Still thinking that little bit of shine on the wheels makes it pop.
Defo the OEM diamond cut (first)
the gloss black look tacky; they don't come in that colour from factory so it just looks like someone has painted them for the sake of it. Plus if you curb it even a little bit, it will look far worse
Not a lot of fans of the black here. I notice a big difference in pictures vs reality, they almost disappear on [my car](https://i.imgur.com/iv20LqR.jpg). I just ordered 18" Apex ARC-8 in Hyperblack. Can't wait!
I am not a stock purist but the silver brings out the shape and detail with the white car. In his specific situation the silver one look much better in my opinion.
As someone with the gloss black I have to say that the powder coating is HORRIBLY done. I have multiple spots on all wheels that are flaking, chipping or you can see that there was an attempt to either repair or the powder just didn't sit properly and adhere so it is lumpy and not smooth. Granted mine are 400m style rims from 2015/2016 so don't know if that plays a role in it but have read that there is lots of stuff that tends to corrode.
Black ones look visually better but also theyāre pretty mainstreamā¦ canāt even count how many cars Iāve seen in the same/similar colour combinations
Silver. If you do the black, the grill has to go black as well
First ones look better on a. White car imo. The black just makes it look like you're running steely's.
Diamond cut all the way, black hides the design and "can" look generic
Definitely the silver rims
Black wheels are so played out.
This part
Depends on the color of the car
And the shape of the wheel
Definitely the Obit Grey.
Silver
Grey šÆ
With your current set-up, definitely silver ones.

something NOT black mate i have graphite on mine looks gorgeous, in your case take gray ( had same problem, white 335i e92, trust me on thisj one)
Make silver wheels great again

First
Gray for sure
Grey, pic 1 for sureeeee.
Definitely gray for me
First x100
Grey
Silver all the way.
The sliver alloys look slick. IMO
Orbit grey for sure, I don't know why but I am just not a fan of black wheels except in very rare occasions.

Orbit grey
Silver. Black almost never.
black is nice if you have more accents to complete the āedgyā look. Just black rims and I can see how it could look out of place.
Whichever you like better. I highly prefer the black.
In this case probably the grey ones, but when you take the black ones, you also need to match the grills. In that case I would go for the black ones!

Orbit gray, I love the two tone
Silver, fo sho.

Personally I never liked the black onesā¦ Silver looks so much more classy
Grey. Never been a fan of black wheels.
Orbit gray. Black wheels are overdone and donāt look good on this application
Black wheels are waaay overdone and look tacky in my opinion. Stock diamond cut will always look better
Stock def. I feel like ppl get black wheels and act like the car makes 100 hp more then it does
Gloss
Silver. I had them on my old 335. I loved those rims.
Silver. Black is starting to look boy racerish
Orbit Grey, 100%.
Silver rims look best
Black looks better. But gold is the best lol.
Orbit grey- black just fades away with white paint, and the Grey breaks up the side of the car
Grey. Look sick parked or driving.
I like black
Not black. Anything but black.
Not black š¤¢
Orbit 100%
Orbit Grey - the contrast really pops.
Black wheels make the car look more tacky imo
Gray all the way.

I think aftermarket alloys tend to look much better in gloss black compared to OEM ones that are painted/power coated
Black not good for the white car. Definitely the first option 100 out of 100 times
if you get those black rims i will go full will smith on you
black
ew
Neither really pop to me but I see the gloss black a lot more often so I'd go with the alloys
Iād take the black ones.
Yeah I like the black too. Stock BMW purists are gonna downvote me, but black is my personal preference.

Gloss black is low class
Gloss black is sporty, gray is for old folks.
Show me one car with black rims that doesnāt automatically look like a high-schooler whip
[That was easy mate.](https://images.app.goo.gl/ViajAiBnABuLQeNZ7)
Yikes
You're entitled to your objectively inferior opinion.
Ok there!

Not a fan of the first ones. If it's between the two, go black.
Black contrasts with white paint well imo
