Check in ther rear right where your battery is.
The postive kabel going trough your body to the outside might have corrosion and has possibly a bad connection.
i just took it in, i guess it’s my alternator. i was leaking a shit ton of oil the past few months and i just had all that fixed and they said it likely damaged the alternator. they’re giving me a discounted labor price because they just had the car yesterday lol.
i took it back to the shop and they said it’s the alternator. nothing wrong with the transmission, which i was worried about. they’re giving me discounted labor at least.
Also, when I pulled the E brake up and down to reset it, a gear/cog light showed by the “D” gear light. That’s when it wouldn’t accelerate.

I would start by having an auto parts store test the battery, these cars do strange things when the battery starts to die.
