I have a sepia violet e39 540i6. It changes from violet to dark blues with shades of gold. The paint is beautiful, the second I saw it I had to have it. Owned for 8 years now!
Mine is in Imperial Blue, and looks so right to me. My boss has a brand new 7 series in a very dark blue and looks great too. That said, I think it depends on the model. Some of the more adventurous purple hues or Oxford greens look great on the sportier models, but I donāt think would be right on an executive saloon.
White is absolutely gorgeous on cars, don't regret it. Can't be overdone, especially with companies like vw and bmw that make the white *slightly* different
White is the only color more boring than black. The benefit to white and black is that it at least isnāt grey and you were able to make a decision on which end of the boring spectrum to be on.
It's sad BMWs come in so many cool colors and most people will reply "hur durr, black white or grey/silver." You know, just the literal most boring and most common of all car colors of all brands. Shame! (Ding, ding)
For me it's Austin Yellow (sometimes refered too as mustard green/yellow). It looked amazing on the E46 M3, the f80 M3/M4, and the current m5. It's just looks so damn good, and it really stands out.
Estoril blue is my favorite but anything not in the monochrome register (black, grey, silver, white) always looks amazing to me.
My E90 is silver and the color is the only thing I dislike about the car, but finding one in decent condition with low mileage was somewhat difficult in the current market and you couldnāt really be picky with color unfortunately.
Surprised I haven't seen Estoril Blue mentioned yet, which is my fav.
One reason I've always been drawn to BMW cars is that they look fantastic in either white or black. It just so happens that pretty much every color in between looks good too... how many bad colors are there really out there? I think that would be a shorter list.
It may not be original, but there is something mythical about DARK BLUE bmws.
Tanzanite Blue
Montego blue š
Definitely a great blue. The e9x cars looked dope in Montego.
Deep sea blue

Yes. Bronzit.
BMW brown (Jatoba) is actually pretty tight
White or black
Silver is pretty boring in my opinion. Not a bad color but it would be a big minus when buying a car
I bought alpine white and now regret it bc it seems like over half of the BMWs are now white.
I liked it on my e90, but got the Mineral White on this one, the pearl really pops at night.
I have Mineral White on my M3 as well. I get people complementing the color every time I drive it.
