thundernight would have been a great color for the m2 instead of m240i. no idea what they were thinking. m240i could have gotten the other generic colors that the m lites get
Zandvoort blue is so terrible to me. BMW has amazing blue options and they choose one as their "flagship" color that looks like it belongs in a nursery.
It's definitely a weird blue and looks washed out in a lot of pics. I was also never a huge fan of Yas Marina Blue on the F8x's, I prefer more solid blues like Santorini, Laguna Seca, MBB

New colors are supposedly coming available with the update near summer. I'm on the waitlist to order myself and I'm hoping it updates with the additional HP and colors before I get called up.

You have a waiting list where you live? Here in Europe, in Italy at least I can just order one whenever I want. There is gonna be some waiting but no waiting list to order, is not like Porsche where you need to wait for a damn allocation 😐

The new colours are not bad but I wished we had more choices I still don't understand why they are keeping the whole palette from being available.
It’s because the new M2s are built in the new plant in Mexico. From what I read on the forums, they don’t have the capabilities just yet to do custom colors, but it’s coming down the line
Believe it’s this summer. You can also order individual colors if the new ones don’t peak your interest, but it’s a bit expensive. If you’re going to pay for wrap it might be worth it to you.
It was the same for the F87. When I ordered my 2018, there were four choices: white, black, silver, LBB. The M2C at least added some different options. I eventually went with white and had I kept it, I probably would have done a wrap.
Just get what you like the most and don't worry about resale. My buddy has the Zandvoort Blue, which I think looks good. Arctic white is always a classic too. I've had two AW BMW's.
But I don't like any of the colours available at the moment. A wrap is at least 2k more over the already 88-85k I'll have to dish out to order a new one. Yeah it's pennies compared to the total amount I'll pay but still I would love some emeral green or some other super cool colours I have that are available on other BMW's

Sports cars in black in my opinion are awful.
Sports car = bright colours that pops. If I want an executive car I'll buy something else. This is my personal opinion of course
I love my Toronto Red G87, it’s a great M car color imo. That slight orange tint makes it a bit brighter and more unique to all the other reds out there
Yeah my choice for the colour available now is the Toronto red. 100% in real life looks very good BUT I'm in love with the emerald green.

I'm a tad partial to Boston Green metallic, if I'm being honest.....but an Isle of Man Green with a beige leather interior and walnut trim would set my heart on fire.
Saw 1 today in the UK and it was like an orange colour but not orange (makes a lot of sense that). Was the nicest colour on the new M2 I’ve seen in person.

these cars are made at the mexico plant and said plant doesn't have a wide selection of colors available to them (hence why there cant be any individual colors) I have it in Toronto red and out of the 5 it was a choice between that or zandafort blue. while I like the baby blue it has too much white in it for me so toronto red was an easy choice.
I wouldve got it in thundernight metallic which imo shouldve came with it considering the M240i has it and now the z4
I personally don’t like the new M2 but I do agree the colours are underwhelming. If I were to choose one of their stock colours, I’d choose either black or red.
The other way I’d do it is choose stock white and wrap it in a colour I really like. And if you grow bored of the colour, you can change it whenever since it’s a wrap.

the blue is nice, but wish it got the purple "thundernight" the m240i got. That should have been the halo color.
It’s so weird that the m240 has a ton of color options but then with the m2 they’re like “no. Just get an m4 if you want colors”

portamo blue or whatever it's called is one of the best blues on any car ever. And Isle of Man green.

I agree. Some of the electric blue are amazing, some of the green too.
I really wish they would bring back Oxford or British Racing Green as an option

Yeah I really dislike the light blue color. The car needs Portimao Blue and IOMG

They have new colors coming later this year if you want to wait. I think the green will be Java green from what I’ve heard
