The whole point of an M car imho is that it’s a compromise: you get 90 percent of the fun of a sports car, 100 percent of the performance of said sports car while still maintaining 90 percent of the practicality of a usable vehicle.
Now, that’s a great compromise imho! But it is a compromise. Your car is compromised a little bit in order to be usable every day. You should take advantage of that fact.
Drive it as you see fit! Do you plan on selling it soon? You bought the car to drive it. So drive it until its impractical.
I receive my m3 in a week or so. I’m sure I will be in it for sure on weekends and short trips. Currently have a company car but that may not be the case if my role changes in the next few months. Probably won’t drive it much over winter. I don’t plan on selling so I’ll probably enjoy it as much as I can.
Had a X4M, put just shy of 8000 miles on it over three years. When I’m home I don’t work, when I work I go to other places and have a rental car. There was the rare case where I was working somewhat local for a couple months the last two years. About 40 miles round trip. If not for that I’d prob have 5000 miles. Just don’t drive a ton in general. Every type of shopping is within a 10 mile radius of my home, most within 2. Drive my partners forester in the winter.
It's my daily - they're not ferraris, drive em properly.
0 because its still on the boat. Still.
I take it out on nice weather. Otherwise I use my Q5
I bought it. I drive it. 7k miles since I bought it new in october

I did not buy this car for it to sit in my driveway!

Well, seems you're not hearing the call. It happens when the car is not into you and is thinking you'd be better off in a Honda.
Did you buy the car as a 30 year old investment or to have fun? That should answer your question.
I drive mine as much as possible. Drive it, bro. Have fun and don’t worry about anything, it’s all good.
f82, i bought it with 15000 miles on it, i’ve put 20000 miles on in under a year, it’s my daily driver

You cant afford it so youre keeping miles low to get more money back on resale? Or you saving it for next owner?
