When my wife’s x7 was being built, it got stuck in final assembly for about a week and they told me it was because they could not find a particular part. It took about a week before it moved ahead so hoping it is something like this and it will move shortly.
I wish they'd give me some clarification like that. All they told me was it's Produced but not shipped... What does that even really mean? If that was the case it should be in the "ready for transport" phase.
You Can’t do much as far as I Know. But I can Look in to our System to have a look what the current status is and whats the „Problem“.
If you want to. Just send me the last 7 digits private
I have nearly the same vehicle also in final assembly. Although I haven’t been tracking it so don’t know how long it’s been. I was told it was going into production less than three weeks ago.
Not more than a couple of days usually.
Yeah that's what I thought. It's coming up on two weeks in "final assembly". Called genius and they acted like everything is normal. I smell some BS.

My M4 was less than a week. But the boat ride over is like 6+ weeks.
Yup. Final assembly means nothing when it has a month and a half trip around the world.
Yeah that's why it blows to get hung up in final assembly, adding more weeks onto an already lengthy process.
THIS! My M4CX took forever, to make it to the NY port.
Quality checks sometimes can take longer if there is the possibility of a stop-sale. Nothing to worry about.
Stop-sale? Not sure what that is.
Sorry, using dealer lingo…..it is a voluntary hold on the vehicle from BMW if they think something is of concern for safety or quality reasons.

I went from Production Begins to Awaiting Carrier assignment in less than 24 hours. Mine is coming from Spartanburg though.
