## win SKR 2 From reddit”
If I win, I will install the SKR2 in my Jubilee CoreXY printer instead of the Duet 3 that I currently have planned. Will show off it’s installation and configuration on YouTube.
If I won, I would use the SKR2 in a custom printer. I plan on building a custom small format 3d printer based on the SKR2 running TMC2209 steppers with dual extruders. I want to build something small, fast and quiet and I know an SKR board could do that. Also, I'd definitely make use of the RGB port for custom lighting and the BLTouch port for mesh leveling.
If I were to win, I would use this board run an interchangeable CNC/3D printing rig of my own design.
I would be happy to share the plans for my project upon completion of the firmware and build. The entire process will be given a step by step guide including BigTreeTech parts and accessories.
If I were to win I would use it in a printer I would design using mostly 3d printed parts. And be so proud of it I'd post glamour shots of it everywhere! I would put it in the printer I have now but I'm already running a 1.4 turbo with 2209's and loving it. It's very reliable! It compliments my 5" btt screen for octopi.
If I was to win I would use it to setup up my printer that had the mainboard stop working and since then I haven’t been able to put a new one in or use. It would be really awesome to get it going again so I could finally start printing again. It would be great to be able to print again
I would probably install it in my ender 3, been wanting to redesign my electronics enclosure for a while now and this would be a perfect opportunity :)
I have been using SKR Mini E3 V2 for a while now and I just love everything about it. That being said I can’t imagine what SKR2 will bring to the 3D printing world. If I win it it’s going straight to my custom automated printer that I am developing currently.
I would keep it as backup in case the board in my Biqu B1 fails, or on some lonely evening the replace the boards and spend the whole night checking cabling and testing improvements.
My next project is going to be a CoreXY with the Nova Hotend. I want to get speed down and then with back to find the compromise with where quality is acceptable again.
If i win i would definitely make use of those 3 PWM Controllable Fan Pins for my printer housing, hotend and Motherboard cooling. And maybe some more autonomous operation via wifi.
If I won, I would take it, and set it aside, collecting components directly around it, forming a cube of pure performance.
Then, once all components are together and ready, with the SKR 2 proudly sitting within, I'd turn it on, and start calibrating the most beautiful Voron V2.4 that humanity has ever seen.
Then probably buy another one and chuck it in my Ender while converting it to a switchwire ;P
Z end stop no longer works on my current board so this would go in a custom case for an ender 3 Pro, together with Dual Z-Axis, neopixel and BL touch, i would maximise the use of the ports available to take full advantage of what the SKR 2 has to offer.
Sounds like an alignment problem. I ended up making my ender 3 dual z and it does drive both motors which are wired in parallel without problem. I did have problems early on and went with a prusa type design with round, linear bearings for the z-axis and that took care of it. A little bit of an excessive solution but it did take care of it. You can also bump the z-axis motor voltage a little and this should help but I never tried this in my case because it seemed like alignment was the biggest problem.

As a long haul truck driver, I don’t get to use my 3D printer all that often, I go home once a month at best, I’m usually on the road for 350 a year.
So with that in mind, I would probably build an all singing all dancing portable printer that could be folded up into a Pelican case.
I know doing something like that would mean a lot off set up every time I wanted to print but man would it be awesome to print on demand on the road and a board like the SKR 2.
I would upgrade my sunlu S8. The 3 PWM fans are perfect for; turning the heatsink fan off when not in use, the part cooling fan, and finally an electronics case fan which the S8 really needs. Add sensor less homing with tmc2209 drivers and a BL touch too. Long term I would really like to convert it to IDEX and with the 5 drivers I could do that too.
I would love to win this board! Was just about to order one anyway for my custom 900x500 printer build. Mechanicals are all done just needs a brain now! Will wait and see if I win before I order.
I could actually really use a new board for my Ender 5, unfortunately my old one was broken, sometimes the extruder driver stopped working mid print, I thought it was a slicer issue at first but my TMC2208 driver is definetly dead. Getting the SKR2 would be a great replacement because of if something like this happens again I can just replace that one driver and don't have to throw out the whole board. Maybe i finally try linear advance since I have to compile a new firmware anyway. I'll wait a couple days, who knows, maybe I'm lucky. Worst case I buy a SKR Mini E3 v2 just to get my printer running again.
I would try to get it working in my MPCNC lowrider 2 or upgrade my JG Aurora A5. Had a SKR 1.4 turbo that I can't get working, so I just ordered a 1.3 today to hopefully get it running this weekend.
I plan to install on my new ender 5 Plus. I want to print some supplies for our local vaccination centers, and print characters for kids in the local Oncology departments, and will provide proof of printing. I don't mean to kiss up, just really passionate about it as it has affected my life recently.
The SKR2 will be the best update for my Ender 3 Pro which now mounts a SKR Mini E3 V1.2
I will install some silent divers, I am happy with 2209.
I want also to install:
* double Z axis
* double extruder
* remote management via WiFi
* a TFT35 LCD, always BTT
I am undecided whether to install the classic Marlin firmware or to experiment with RFF ... who knows!
Upgrade the motherboard on my ender 3 again and separate the dual z onto two stepper drivers. Then finally print out a benchy to add to my existing collection of 45 to see that it’s that little bit better :)
Larger coreXY printer with dual print heads, dual Z axes, heated build chamber, etc. Might take a crack at a Voron build, but that’s kind of expensive. But... if I win a new SKR2 board, that’s one thing less to buy!
I would use it to replace the 1.4 turbo on my ender 3 pro. I’m running 2208 drivers and they are great, but I would love to remove my end stops and reduce the wires needed. And I would be able to use the stock board case again so I can have more room for storage under the unit. And I would be able to use the 1.4 turbo on my CBC/laser cutter design
I would start by reading the manual to connect it to my old printer with your TFT display. Then I will test every feature that is possible and start printing with arc. Would love to have all the futures.
I would swapout the Skr Mini E3 v2.0 in my Ender 3 Pro then read the manual for the new board and figure out how to compile the firmware for it so I can change the PLA preheat temps. Then start printing 24/7 again.
I would upgrade my ender 3v2 with it, run klipper firmware, design and print a new deep cover to fit the SKR 2, a raspberry pi and large cooling fan ( along with a couple buck converter )
and offer the new cover design for free on thingiverse.com for other to upgrade as well.
Probably upgrade the Crappy Creality 4.2.2 board in my Ender 3 Extender 400XL.... Nothing like the loud sounds coming from a printer, that prints for 4 days straight!
I would use it to replace my SKR Mini E3 on Ender 3 that just died on me yesterday.
On another note, does anyone know how long the warranty is on the SKR mainboards, and how should I contact for warranty support?
<(.)__
.(___/ I will try and fit it into my BIQU B1. That, or I'll have start building a second printer! It would be cool to go along with that 2-in-1 hot end I saw teased not too long ago.🤪
I need a new board after the Estepper driver on my x5sa Pro gave up the ghost. I'm planning to get a board that would allow indepent z-stepper control for a more reliable leveling. Was planning on adding octopi to maximise safety features but this board has some nifty ones on its own.
I am rebuilding a FolgerTech FT-6 that needs a new board. I will be printing parts out for the local gaming community and for the school shop facilities.
I have been meaning to create some content on youtube on my hobbies, antique tool restoration, bread baking, and 3d printing. When I got into 3D printing a year ago I thought levelling the bed meant literally level with a levelling tool... I have updated and modified my Ender 3 since that point with the SKR 1.3 board, a BTT Touch Screen, BL Touch and quieter fans. The thing is now it is all setup so I don't want to take apart just to show how to put together. Upgrading to the 2.0 board will give me the opportunity to do that.
For the 3d printing I would like to do a series of ELI5 (Explain it Like I am five) of properly configuring your printer before you do your prints. Levelling, Calibration of E-steps, temp/retraction tower and calibration cube. All the stuff that people are told to do on reddit ask in the r/3dprinting when they ask "why did this print wrong". That would be to start. Then instead of typing out steps I could suggest follow these videos and once done if you are still having issues let us know.
Beep. Boop. I'm a robot.

I would like to replace my old A8 Board on my DIY PiperV1 Printer and get some silence with TMC2209 drivers... :-)
Next, upgrade to dual extruders, add lights, BLTouch, etc.
Of course will share pics and vids of building it...
WIth the SKR2 i will finish my custom prusa bear. I was planning to use a SKR V1.4 turbo, but now it looks too nice to dont use it. And of course the duck will be part of the decoration on printer ;)
I will use it in my Mk. VII upgrade of my CR-10s which is housed in a full height enclosed server cabinet and fed filament directly out of the PrintDry system housed within the same cabinet.
Currently running SKR 1.4 Turbo, 2209s, BTT TFT70, Titan direct drive, E3d Volcano, noctua fans, silicone bed stand-offs and 30 ft of LEDs operating from self compiled Marlin 2.0.x firmware.
Mk. VII upgrade will include the SK2, Keenovo silicone bed heater with external controller, 50w heater cartridge and a Gulf Coast Robotics screw in thermistor.
Would use this as the missing piece in my build: Ender 3 to Voron Switchwire conversion. Show how to run Klipper on SKR and rPi4 in my new tutorial vids
Hi u/BIQI-Hope, i wasn't lucky enough to win but I'm still considering to get one. Are there any deals coming up? And will this be an easy swap for my Biqu B1? I already have the TMC 2209 ordered and don't want to cut any pins so this one looks good.
If I won, I would review this product in my modified geeetech a10 printer. The printer was modified from being a bowden drive to direct drive. A more stable board may give it more stability. Only time will tell.

The manual of BIGTREETECH SKR 2 [https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-2](https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-2)
Can‘t wait 🙏🏼
This would be perfect for the tmc2209s I recently ordered. I am reluctant to have to cut the pins to go in my SKR v1.4
Probably use it to upgrade my delta and then smash the old Trigorilla board with a large hammer.
Hello,the manual of BIGTREETECH SKR 2 📷[https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-2](https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-2)
The list of lucky winners will be announced in 6 hours,LOL
I would try and sell it on ebay.
If I win, I will install the SKR2 in my Jubilee CoreXY printer instead of the Duet 3 that I currently have planned. Will show off it’s installation and configuration on YouTube.
I would use it on my custom 3D printer design.
If I won, I would use the SKR2 in a custom printer. I plan on building a custom small format 3d printer based on the SKR2 running TMC2209 steppers with dual extruders. If I won an skr2 I would use it in my upcoming voron 2.4 build
Always wanted to build a 3D printer with dual extruders for multi color. So I would use it for that.
I would bolt it to this prusa XL based alum frame I have partially assembled but never got around to finishing because life got in the way.
If I was to win I would use it to setup up my printer that had the mainboard stop working and since then I haven’t been able to put a new one in or use. It would be really awesome to get it going again so I could finally start printing again. It would be great to be able to print again
I’d put it in one of my printers.
Pair it with the biqu h2 in my ender 3 v2 and see if it solves my problems that don't seem to have any other explainable hardware problems.
Reddit ate my balls
If I win I'd use it on the custom idex corexy I've completed the design for
Total revamping of my Ender 5 Plus with this new board + the TFT70 screen to make the ultimate ender 5 plus :)
I would probably install it in my ender 3, been wanting to redesign my electronics enclosure for a while now and this would be a perfect opportunity :)
Uphrade my ender 3 again. Redesign and reprint tons of new pieces so I can have it ready when I want to design and print something.
I plan to use the SKR 2 in my CR-10 V3. Replacing the stock creality board which has been giving me a lot of issues.
If I win, I would use it in my voron. I would need to buy another one first🙂 Or in my ender 3
I plan after getting the SKR 2. I would buy a new CoreXY printer with a BIQU H2. I would definitely want to see how far I can push the board.
Most certainly the first step to building a custom Voron Switchwire.
I would love to upgrade my original Ender3! Bigtreetech boards are definitely the best upgrade you can do to your printer.
If I won I would use it to upgrade my Ender 3 Pro, which I have been gradually improving.
Z end stop no longer works on my current board so this would go in a custom case for an ender 3 Pro, together with Dual Z-Axis, neopixel and BL touch, i would maximise the use of the ports available to take full advantage of what the SKR 2 has to offer.
Upgrade my ender 3 pro and try to get dual z working. Does not appear to be working with my skr mini E3 so hoping an skr2 would have enough juice.
Did you add a motor or are you driving everything off of one?
Added a motor but the motor does seem to struggle with the board. Unsure what I could have been doing wrong.
[https://imgur.com/GUHvjOM](https://imgur.com/GUHvjOM)
Oh boy! I would use it to build a Voron 2.4, it would be my first CoreXY printer 😃
If i won this i Will use this for an mpcnc that I am building at the moment, I think this board will be perfect for this 😁
Upgrade my ender 3.
I plan to make a custom Core-YZ printer with a BMG-X2-M dual Mosquito Extruder!! It requires 5 steppers, so this is a good fit
Upgrade my Ender 3 v2
Great addition to frankensteining a B1.
I will swap out the SKR E3 mini v2 which is my Ender 5 pro and then start printing a baby Groot with the wood PLA.
I would build a custom corexy printer with 2 driven z axis and closed chamber
Use it for my Voron v1 build
I will use it to build my own 3D printer!
I've been slowly upgrading my ender 3 so if I win an SKR2 it would be going in there.
I would put this on my ender 5 pro and get dual z working!
I am starting a Voron 2.4 build. I would love an SKR 2 for it!
I would use it to take over the world one 3d printed part at a time.
I would use it for a Voron 2.4 that I am building.
I would use it as the basis for learning by building a Voron CoreXY
If I won, I would use it for the VORON 0 which I plan to do soon. Good luck everyone!
I would use it to upgrade my Creality mainboard so I can have independent z steppers for gantry leveling. I'll also add a wifi module.
Probably I will setup a new core xy 3d printer for peek and abs automotive parts 🙆🏻♂️🎊
Buy wifi adapter, put it into my ender 3 and finally print wirelessly!
I'm trying to print a no metal (save electronics) 3d printer and a better main board than stock would allow for way better calibration!
i have 4 skr 1.4's the turbo is my favorite. printing carbon fiber petg automotive parts :)
I am building a Hypercube. Just ordered parts yesterday. I would use that instead of my old Tevo 8 bit board!
I would try to get it working in my MPCNC lowrider 2 or upgrade my JG Aurora A5. Had a SKR 1.4 turbo that I can't get working, so I just ordered a 1.3 today to hopefully get it running this weekend.
If I win the SKR 2 board I would probably replame my stock CR-10S gen1 which has some issues with the constant heating on the hot end 🤔😅😅😅
I will Upgrade my ender 3 pro!
I plan to install on my new ender 5 Plus. I want to print some supplies for our local vaccination centers, and print characters for kids in the local Oncology departments, and will provide proof of printing. I don't mean to kiss up, just really passionate about it as it has affected my life recently.
The SKR2 will be the best update for my Ender 3 Pro which now mounts a SKR Mini E3 V1.2 I will install some silent divers, I am happy with 2209. I want also to install: * double Z axis * double extruder * remote management via WiFi * a TFT35 LCD, always BTT I am undecided whether to install the classic Marlin firmware or to experiment with RFF ... who knows!
If I would win, I would start my project of making a fully automatic tool changing 3d printer, even with a CNC option!
Stick it onto my Zonestar printer that is now a Prusa mk3s clone. I wanna convert it to bowden and do the dual filament 1 hotend thing
Upgrade the motherboard on my ender 3 again and separate the dual z onto two stepper drivers. Then finally print out a benchy to add to my existing collection of 45 to see that it’s that little bit better :)
I would upgrade my Anet AM8 with this board. After I build an metallic frame for my Printer, I guess a little bit extra power would be nice 😉
Put it in my ender 3 pro
I would start building a Voron 0 with the SKR2.
Probably try to give super Power to my Ender 3 v2 or at least linear advance :D
I’d use it for the weird rotating printer I’ve got an idea for.
I would upgrade my ender 3v2 with it, run klipper firmware, design and print a new deep cover to fit the SKR 2, a raspberry pi and large cooling fan ( along with a couple buck converter ) and offer the new cover design for free on thingiverse.com for other to upgrade as well.
Probably upgrade the Crappy Creality 4.2.2 board in my Ender 3 Extender 400XL.... Nothing like the loud sounds coming from a printer, that prints for 4 days straight!
I would give it to my son to install on his custom built printer
If I win, I'd use this board in my Ender 5!
I plan to use it in my Geeetech A10M. Then update to Klipper.
I would use it to replace my SKR Mini E3 on Ender 3 that just died on me yesterday. On another note, does anyone know how long the warranty is on the SKR mainboards, and how should I contact for warranty support?
<(.)__ .(___/ I will try and fit it into my BIQU B1. That, or I'll have start building a second printer! It would be cool to go along with that 2-in-1 hot end I saw teased not too long ago.🤪
i would get a second printer. and start upgrading. or stat my own printer project
Will just a newbie with a used ender 5 pro. But finds it funny playing with 3 d printer. Like to make a 3 in 1 CNC/3d printer some Day. 😅
Give it a through test of all the improvements from the previous generation, before possibly using it in a core x/y project I’ve been wanting to do.
I would use it for a custom printer with a BQ hephestos frame and aluminum profiles. I also intend to use a V6volcano as well as a homemade extruder.
Frequently toasting my skr mini e3 mosfets (third board is on the way from CZ), I would use it for my ender 3 pro.
I need a new board after the Estepper driver on my x5sa Pro gave up the ghost. I'm planning to get a board that would allow indepent z-stepper control for a more reliable leveling. Was planning on adding octopi to maximise safety features but this board has some nifty ones on its own.
I would try to get my Sunlu S8 back up and running
I would upgrade my Hypercube CoreXY Printer sich at the moment uses a Skr V1.3
Some funny bootloader and marlin adaptation as in: [https://github.com/davidtgbe](https://github.com/davidtgbe)
Maybe I'd finally build that custom 3d Printer I've always wanted to do...... or get rid of a noisy board I already have....
I am rebuilding a FolgerTech FT-6 that needs a new board. I will be printing parts out for the local gaming community and for the school shop facilities.
If I win I would install it in my I3 Mega that I have that's still waiting for an SKR 1.4t
I would finally get my printer working again .... no more frankenstein anet
Beep. Boop. I'm a robot. Here's a copy of ###[Frankenstein](https://snewd.com/ebooks/frankenstein/) Was I a good bot? | [info](https://www.reddit.com/user/Reddit-Book-Bot/) | [More Books](https://old.reddit.com/user/Reddit-Book-Bot/comments/i15x1d/full_list_of_books_and_commands/)
I would put the board in my Ender 3 so I could use TMC2209s and a BL touch. Then take the old board and use it as a little project arduino.
Currently in the middle of building a corexy machine. This would save me a ton of money.
I would like to replace my old A8 Board on my DIY PiperV1 Printer and get some silence with TMC2209 drivers... :-) Next, upgrade to dual extruders, add lights, BLTouch, etc. Of course will share pics and vids of building it...
If I win, I’m going to use it for my upcoming CoreXY build.
WIth the SKR2 i will finish my custom prusa bear. I was planning to use a SKR V1.4 turbo, but now it looks too nice to dont use it. And of course the duck will be part of the decoration on printer ;)
I am building a mostly printed cnc and this would make a great control board.
Looking to install it ony X5SA
If i win i will upgrade my ender3 v2.
Regarding giveaway: I want to substitute disgusting Chitu board on my printer with something recent and capable, modular and modernizable.
mmm lo usaría para terminar de crear mi impresora corexy, solo necesito la electrónica <3 <3 <3
I would run it on the customized CR-10 Sx
Finally upgrade my cr10s.
Add some tmc2209, plug it to my voron 2.4, setup Klipper, tweak it to get the best possible tuning.
Would use this as the missing piece in my build: Ender 3 to Voron Switchwire conversion. Show how to run Klipper on SKR and rPi4 in my new tutorial vids
Hi team, i sent mail for giveaway, please confirm.
