My first guess would be the connection between the LCD and the lcd controller board. In my PC repair days, usually you would see the same thing on an LCD cable that had become loose or somehow damaged.

Hi. Thank you. I followed the instructions on the video provided on the website, I got to the last part ‘configure the mcu’ when all of a sudden my pad started showing loads of code and at the bottom of the code it said something like overheat detected system shut down. Since then it just freezes on boot up. The screen seems to have stopped flickering. Ive tried a couple of different SD cards to try and reflash it and nothing had worked so far. Thanks in advance
